We had brunch on a Sunday and it was great. We had reservations, but it wasn’t too busy at about noon.
Here are the positives: the service was really wonderful – perfect mix of attentive and leave you alone; the table hot sauces are FANTASTIC; the guacamole was really delicious and the pan frances (french toast) was phenomenal. Okay, I don’t really have negatives…but the other dishes were just good (nothing spectacular). The fish tacos and albondigas were tasty, but not standouts.
Overall a lovely brunch, but I definitely want to return for dinner.

Casa Enrique continues to be one of the best restaurants in Long Island City and it fully deserves its reputation. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, fresh, and full of bold flavor. You can taste the care in the cooking, whether it’s the guacamole, ceviche, enchiladas, or their signature mole. The dishes are beautifully balanced without being overly complicated, which makes the experience feel both comforting and special.
The service is another reason we keep returning. The staff is warm, patient, and genuinely welcoming. Even on busy nights, they make you feel taken care of and always offer thoughtful recommendations. It is clear they care about creating a positive experience for every guest.
The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or celebrating something meaningful. It has become one of those rare neighborhood restaurants where you want to bring friends and family just to share how good it is. We also love that the quality has never slipped no matter how popular it gets.
Casa Enrique is a true gem in Queens. If you are in LIC and want an amazing meal with great service, this should be at the top of your list.

My cousin from the Philippines were visiting NY and invited me with others to have dinner at this restaurant. I have to start something totally unrelated to this topic, was finding a parking on the street like, Manassas Virginia where I live finding a parking is never an issue no matter where you go to here in this town. I was little late but dinner was ready and preciously placed on the table with rest of the side dishes. I hade a probably a 6oz steak as a main course with other sides as you can see in the picture. Since I spent decades with Mexican family in California, I really do know the taste of assorted salsas and sauces, it was to the perfection. Steak was medium rare tender and was easy to chew on. I loved the masa tortilla, reminded me of someone especial who use to make it from the scratch. Our Host Andres and the rest of the host was wonderful, friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely will go back next time I’m in New York. Thank You!

The food and drink were incredible but the most exceptional piece of the experience was the service.
We ordered chips and guacamole, Mole de Piaxtla, and the carnitas. We also tried the mango margaritas (can’t miss!) and one of their Valentines speciality drinks. Every single item was incredible. Wrapped up the evening with the flan- perfection.

Casa Enrique was a wonderful find for truly authentic Latin cuisine. The menu is full of tempting dishes — honestly, it was hard to choose just one — and everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
The cocktails were clever and well crafted, adding to the whole experience.
Overall, I absolutely loved this place — great food, warm atmosphere, and a spot I’d happily return to.

Great meal at Casa Enrique last night. We had an 8:30 reservation but were able to get sat early, as we arrived faster than anticipated. Lovely service, and we had enough pozole to bring home with us. Perfect as the weather is turning cold. Need to return to dig into more of their long cocktail list!

Great experience here on a Friday night! We were seated at the bar and our bartender/waiter was super attentive and made excellent drink/entree recommendations. One of the best spicy margaritas I’ve had in a while! He was very knowledgeable about the tequila/mezcal options which I appreciate. The food was good, elevated takes on traditional Mexican flair. Pop in if you can get a seat! It’s very busy!

The Casa Enrique brunch menu was a mixed bag. The flautas de pollo ($22 plus tax) and the pastel tres leches ($13) were hits. The guacamole ($18), though creamy, was very bland for something supposed to be medium spicy. This was concerning because the classics should be executed exceptionally. The virgin Bloody Mary was also a miss, the added sugar imparting an odd syrupy taste.

I came here with the boys. We had the tamarind margarita which was delicious. The mole chicken dish was our favorite. But everything was excellent. The vibe inside was also really chill

This is a terrific Mexican restaurant with some of the most delightful dishes. Steak is super tender, perfectly cooked at medium raw, juicy and melts in your mouth. Tacos come with fresh corn tortillas. The meat is fresh, sweet and savory. Fish ceviche is tangy, spicy.
The restaurant is right off of Vernon, slightly more secluded being next to a children park/playground. Outdoor seatings are available. Service is quick. We were able to get a table on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner without a reservation. The price is on the higher end for mexican food but I still recommend for occasional treat for anyone to try.
