All the flavors were impeccable! The staff were friendly and attentive to our large group. We were impressed with how well each dish came together with such rich flavors. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. While everything tasted amazing, we ordered the tower to share and found it super messy and hard when trying to pick off of the plates. Regardless, we still had a great time!

Shrimp & Pork Egg Roll (3Pc) gives you every ingredient that you could ever ask for and want in your lettuce wrapped egg roll: Pickled Daikon, Carrots, Vermicelli Noodles, Cucumbers, Fried Shallots, and of course the house made, hand made fish sauce. All of these flavors just blend together so well, making the Egg Roll more palatable and digestible.

Pork Belly Shrimp Paste Clay Pot: Nothing like this at other Vietnamese restaurants. The chili’s are not overbearing, but it’s a level that only lingers in your mouth and lips, making you want another bite. The shrimp paste, lemongrass, garlic, green onions, fish sauce, and whatever else the chef’s put with the fatty pork belly is savory. A perfect pairing with a bowl of rice.

Pho Soup: A clean taste, but a bit too much onions/fried shallots for my liking. The soup base is smooth, and you can’t see any oil bubbles floating on the top either.

EVERYTHING is house made. If you’re looking for fresh, authentic Vietnamese food, this is the spot.

Wow! What an incredible experience! Great flavors and a very cool restaurant. I made my own rice noodle rolls with pork skewer and pork sausage. The fish broth is very tasty. I didn’t find it fishy at all. Very fresh veggies and such a good time.

Dan Da is outstanding! We had a superb meal last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He can’t eat gluten but the menu offered many gluten friendly options. The wings were a particularly nice surprise (worth ordering just for the sauce alone). We also had a clay pot with lemongrass pork (addictively delicious!) the crab and shrimp egg rolls, and the yellow curry stirfry with chicken. My son who is usually a picky eater practically inhaled a noodle bowl with beef. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and can’t wait to go back!

My only suggestion would be to offer a local IPA on the drink menu but otherwise the drink menu has lots of options.

We’ve been to Dan Da 3 times now and each time was wonderful. We’re so glad it’s here!

Truly great restaurants can be hard to find in Denver, but Dan Da delivers every single time. After a half dozen visits and sampling much of the menu, it’s clear this is a place built on skill, care, and consistency. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and every dish is prepared with an attention to detail that’s immediately noticeable.

The standout is the whole fried red snapper. It arrives crisp and golden on the outside, with delicate, perfectly cooked meat inside — a dish that easily anchors the table. The supporting flavors and garnishes are just as thoughtful, creating a balanced and memorable meal.

Dan Da is run by a local family with decades of experience in Denver’s Vietnamese restaurant scene. Their hospitality shows: the service is warm, the atmosphere is inviting, and the space is beautifully designed without feeling fussy.

It’s not just my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city — it’s my favorite restaurant, period. Consistently excellent food, genuine hospitality, and an experience that never disappoints.

Love, Love, Love!!! Go for the traditional dishes! We ordered:
CP8. MUC RUOC BA ROI // CALAMARI PORK SHRIMP PASTE.
TS1. BO LUC LAC// SHAKEN BEEF TENDERLOIN.
Perfect to share for two. Southern style Vietnamese which is what I am very familiar with. Staff is great and the beef was lean and spectacular!

Tried some of the food here its not bad but not for me. When i say not for me i mean a shrimpy taste because i dont like shrimp i mean at all so if something taste too much like shrimp i dont enjoy the dish. Many places ive tried this dish there was maybe one other place in vegas that had an extreme shrimpy taste which i didnt even bother eating after one bite but this one though wasnt that bad but i stilll wouldnt get it again. If you like shrimp and that taste you will probably enjoy it. I will give this place another chance but this review is based solely on my first experience here and on what ive tried.

I walked in to order take-out and experienced great service and care given to me. My shrimp noodle bowl was divine- with the shrimp marinade very flavorful and fresh. I will return to sample other menu items. It gets busy, so plan ahead! Highly recommend.

This was one of the most memorable food experiences I’ve had in Denver. And I’m from here.

Chef An blew us away with her ability to execute on traditional dishes and bring signature flavors to dishes we’ve never had. Each plate was well appointed – appropriate balance of proteins, noodles/rice, and vegetables. The broths were exceptional with their depth

We had the spring rolls, shaken beef, beef soup on special, and the pork noodle bowl.

If you’re smart, you’ll purchase their house chili oil. It’s divine.

Thanks to Chef An for previewing each dish for us. All the success in 2026.

Great food, with a menu full of less typical Vietnamese dishes. Service was on the slower side, particularly as the place filled up with the dinner crowd.

We opened with a classic fried egg roll. It came with a handful of bib lettuce leaves and a lot of fixings. The fish oil sauce was delicious, with a nice complex mix of flavors. The pickled veggies were another great addition to the impromptu lettuce wraps. Off to a great start.

The Shaken Beef dish and the yellow curry dish we ordered were both fantastic. The fish oil vinaigrette that came with the beef was so good I found myself finishing the salad first. The curry was well executed, and came with a huge portion of rice. We were very happy with both dishes, but completely out of room.

We will be back frequently. I’m particularly looking forward to ordering one of the towers, which look like they all come with the same fixings as the spring rolls did.
