Our friend Chris invited us out to the BLOCK HOUSE restaurant and I can tell you,this place is absolutely amazing. The staff is great, the food amazing and the environment best in class.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and seated immediately with our party.
Of course I ordered the Briuschetta here which again absolutely amazing tomatoes. I mean seriously the flavor. Our group had dinner at thia restaurant 2 nights throughout the week and it was worth every bite. I ended up ordering the turkey, baked potatoes and garlic bread and it was stunning.
I also love that Coca-cola is all glass bottles over in Germany. It jiat taste better having a bottle of coke not a can or a plastic cup. Thank you for a wonderful experience and when back in Berlin I will be be back.
Bathrooms were super clean, staff was super friendly and it wa super cold outside.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. After eating here, I developed clear symptoms of food poisoning, including nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain, which started shortly after the meal. I felt unwell for several days and had to take time to recover. Food safety and hygiene are extremely important, and I hope the restaurant takes this issue seriously to prevent similar situations in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

If you would like to find restaurants for dinner . I recommend this restaurant because the beef is so good. Cesar salad also is good . Chocolate lava must to eat too. But services is so slow . You have to wait a long time .

Two of us got here around 3.30 looking for lunch. It clean, cosy booths, warm, super friendly service. Felt like I was at home. Also menu in several different languages.

Drinks: 2 x petit clot savinon Blanc
Goulash soup
Carrot soup
Side salad
Baked potato with sour cream
Carpaccio salad expecting lots of rocket but it was the other way around, rocket is like a garnish with more beef (which was tender and lovely)
Mrs rumpsteak – steak, salad, baked potato and sour cream, blockhouse bread
Desert: New York cheese cake
it was actually a lot of food, I could have probably just eaten Mrs Rumpsteak. Glad I got to try other dishes, food tasty here you can’t go wrong eating here.
10/10 I would eat here again.

The WORST restaurant I have been to in Germany, Service is extremely slow or non existent, waiters literally ran away from us when we entered the restaurant. We ordered 2 plates of caesars salad with chicken and both had hair in them, the chicken was undercooked and the cheese was basically thrown on it straight from the fridge. Maybe they want to close down the business, who knows all I know is that I would never visit a BLOCK HOUSE again.
