Worked 10 plus hours and found this place online. The grandma’s thin crust and an order of calamari hit the spot. Both arrived hot a very delicious. Next time we work in the area I’ll be ordering again. Also, thanks to the delivery guy.

I’m so very annoyed at Sorrentos tonight. I ordered a pizza at 5:30 with expected delivery being about 46 minutes. I get a notification in the Slice app that its on the way and will arrive latest 6:21. 6:45 still no pizza. I live less an a mile away (yes I know I can pick up but I have 8 month old twins, any little convenience helps). I called they said there’s a parade in town so they are running a little late but it’s on the way. No problem until 7:30 and there’s still no pizza. I need to put my kids to bed so I’m chatting with customers service on the Slice app. When they finally got in contact with Sorrentos they were told the women I spoke to actually made a mistake my order never went out, it wasn’t never made. They asked that I give them 30 more minutes. I’m fusing, I don’t want them waking my kids up by ringing the doorbell. I want to cancel but I’m hungry so wait it out until 8:15 when the pizza finally arrives almost 3 hours after I originally placed the order. I totally understand things happen and there was a parade (that I live in the exact opposite direction of) but some communication would be nice.

This place is awesome.
I travel through New Jersey once a month and when I stay in this town I go here.
The people are friendly and courteous.The food is prepared promptly. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are large.
I had two previous menus in my car. I saw something I’ve never seen before…
The prices were higher slightly on one menu. I assumed that was the NEWER menu.
I was mistaken.
Some of the prices actually went DOWN on the new menu!
Imagine that in today’s world! Someone lowering their prices!
While the pizza is delicious and well prepared, please don’t look past the other dishes. I’ve had salads there that were great. And their pasta dishes are generously portioned and well prepared. $15.95 for a delicious chicken or shrimp pasta dish with a side Caesar salad and warm garlic bread is freaking unbeatable!
I wish this place was in my hometown. I would be there a lot more frequently if it was!

First & last time ordering from Sorrento’s Pizza. Took almost 2 hours to deliver my food & I live exactly 5 minutes away. I ordered a Pepsi but got a coke, I asked for utensils & got nothing. The garlic knots were great, the Philly cheesesteak was not. Same with the pizza, it tasted sweet & not pizza like at all. Highly disappointed.

Go to pizza place in Avenel. Always correct, consistant, timely, and tasty
Edit: Has fallen apart. I didnt even know a pizza could be burned and raw at the same time. They had a rough patch after the fire but apparently never recovered. Theres a slice of pepperoni where i guess the pepperoni called out. Got 4 pies, all of them were burned crust with too much flop in the center. Inconsistent toppings and not even cut well. Not the worst, but not up to par. Kinda dissapointing when u want to support local and get this…go to Plum Tomato.

We got a chicken parmigan dinner, that was cut into little pieces , and overcooked so bad, it was black and like shoe leather.
This is the second time we have gotten this dinner, and again it was awful.

Pizza was delish. Service was fantastic. Warning- there is no indoor seating. They have a few picnic tables along the sidewalk. I recommend delivery/take out.
