After a local place nearer to me decided to cheap out I decided to go out of my way and try this place and boy was I glad I did!
I had the quesabirria with consume when I came here and I’m so glad I found a place that knows how to make good stuff once again! The photo should speak for itself but I was blown away by how good the food was! A perfect 5/5 for the quesabirria and the consume was great as well but way overpriced at almost $4 for a tiny cup.
I didn’t see any bathrooms available so keep that in mind though they do have an available sink for hand washing.
The people are super friendly and attentive which I appreciated. I didn’t like how for their sauce/side bar the serving cups were way too small for things like the radishes and limes. (Small note I don’t approve of the ai art they use. Please pay real artists)
Though they could improve in certain areas this place is worth a visit.

The fish tilapia tacos are so delicious and well seasoned. The horchata was also really good! The service was really friendly, made me feel right at home. Muchas gracias por todo!

My wife and I are obsessed with their “Oregon City burrito”! They’re big enough to fill me up and enough to give my wife two meals. They’re not overloaded with cheap fillers (ie.rice,beans) like some other Mexican restaurants do. They’ve inspired me to add shredded potatoes to my own burritos, taking them up a notch to next-level status. They have a big menu, but you’re not overwhelmed by it. I love that they have chilaquiles! Great salsa/sauce bar. Highly recommended.

Quick service with a smile. Noticed one of the staff cleaning tables and she literally cleaned from the top of the table to the bottom of the chair legs. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of delicious food choices. Love the smaller mom and pop shops.

Don Chuy’s is SO good. I had the fish tacos this time and was surprised to get so much fish (very used to a small piece of fried fish, lol). Rice and beans are always good, too. Can’t wait to have more of the menu!

I’ll be honest I have only ever gotten the birria with the consome but its freaking delicious! I feel if you can do birria right, there’s no way you can get anything wrong. I also really enjoy their horchata recipe. I think they use more cinnamon or maybe a different kind of cinnamon then other restaurants. Really good. I personally think it deserves 5/5 stars

Came in to try this place out…The burrito was kind of made sloppy, It started to fall apart and not wrapped tight. Other than that the carnitas Oregon City burrito I ordered tasted good. It had some pretty good authentic flavors inside the burrito. The carnitas taco salad tasted good…the taco shell had good flavors along with the other ingredients that were inside the taco shell. The hot sauces they made taste pretty authentic and has good flavor along with the other condiments that they have as an addition to your dishes. I would recommend you come try to see if you like this authentic Mexican food..

Underrated!! I can’t understand how this place isn’t constantly packed. So good and flavorful, meat always tastes and feels fresh, good large portions. If you go here, get an extra side of rice and beans to go. They’ll taste even better the next day. Also, the restaurant is shockingly clean inside. I usually expect small restaurants inside strip mall to be kinda grungy, but no. This place is always spotless.

The choices on the menu were extensive. I had chilaquiles Rojas w/rice and beans and 2 eggs over medium $14 Seemed a bit spendy. I would go again and recommend.
