Hubby and I are local to the area and were spending the weekend in OC. We were staying in the Hilton that holds the restaurant and decided to check it out. We both ordered breakfast. Omelets, home fries, toast and pancakes. Absolutely everything was DELICIOUS and well-presented. Slightly on the medium to high end of pricing, but get get a LOT of food. Would definitely suggest everyone to try this place out.

We ordered the Charcuterie for Two, I got a Dark N Stormy and the salmon dish, and my boyfriend got their Manhattan and the skirt steak dish. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were made perfectly. Our waitresses were an absolute delight to work with (Heidi and Rachel I believe are their names)! Our only “””complaint””” was the amount of food for the charcuterie board was meant for a full table and not just for two people it was a very chill atmosphere when we went, I assume it’s a bit more lively earlier in the day and especially during peak season. I do wish the vegetable of the day (for us it was asparagus and broccoli) had a few more bits of broccoli instead of just one big one but that’s just a personal preference not a complaint. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a nice dinner at a good price.

Solstice Bar & Grill at the Hilton Garden Inn Ocean City is very nice! It’s beautiful and clean and right by the ocean. We loved the crab bites and crab dip. The food was amazing and very fresh. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Jennifer was so helpful and kind. She got us all that we needed. Even got Saber ( my dog ) a bowl of water . We’re very happy to be staying here!

At 9am on a Sunday there was supposed to be a 40 minute wait for a party of 5 but it only ended up being around 20 minutes. Got seated at a table for 4 with a seat pulled up and a few minutes later a party of 4 got seated at a table for 6. We ordered before them but got our food after.

The wait staff were all pleasant. The food was ok overall. The crab avocado toast had rave reviews from our teen who rarely enjoys what she eats. The yogurt parfit was fluffy with delicious fresh fruit. The poached eggs in the eggs benedict were over cooked (not runny). Everything else was pretty good. Nothing to rave about and the kitchen seemed a bit slow. I believe they would benefit greatly from a breakfast buffet at this location (which we were incorrectly told they had).

Overall a good location for a restaurant. I didn’t have the opportunity to have lunch and dinner here but, did try the breakfast buffet since I was the guest at the hotel.

Pros:
– Nice location before going to the beach
– Good quality food with verity of options for folks who can eat everything.

Cons:
– Too pricey for the option
– Buffet doesn’t include coffee or milk. They charge you extra. Never heard of this before
– If you are ovo-vegetarian then you can survive. Scrambled eggs were too overcooked. If you are vegetarian, I would not recommend paying $20 for this buffet. You will get a Waffle/Yogurt/Oatmeal/Fruits and potato’s and some sweet items. Breakfast sandwich had meat. Biscuits had meat gravy. Sausage available. Sandwich was with meat. I had to skip a lot of trays. Was disappointed.

Overall: A good location but at this day and age, they can do better being more vegetarian friendly.

For the budget friendly people, the price here is cheaper than it is on the boardwalk and the local area for a Hilton Hotel, I am really?

The service is good and you’ll get the royalty feel at a hotel restaurant, it is naturally going to be better than the local area in terms of service and timing, because everyone in the OC is actually nice, so kindness rating doesn’t matter.

Cheesesteak ($14): It comes with fries, the fries is absolutely awesome, its the type that has that extra batter/flour on it to give you that extra crisp, syper recommend the fries if your a fry lover. The cheesesteak was awesome becuase there is a lot of meat stuffed into it, very satisfying, the bread was alright, but overall very good and cheaper than the other local cheesesteaks, I passed by a $16 one and a $19 one on the boardwalk and it isnt worth it, plus there is no fries with it. Its good cheesesteak here at the Hilton

Crab Bites: ($16): Really good balls of carb, nice snack portion if you don’t want the $38 crab cake meal. I can say it tasted like crab, perfectly what I wanted.

Myself and the couple in front of me waited 25 minutes to get seated and the restaurant was not even full. It wasn’t until I went to the Hilton Garden front desk to get assistance and then we got seated. I then ordered my breakfast and got coffee with it. They not only filled my coffee mug half full but the waiter got my order wrong as well. My bacon was very undercooked. I asked for ketchup and they at brought the smallest container that was only one third of the way full of ketchup which was nowhere near enough. After I eventually ate my food, I asked for my check. I then waited for him to come back 20 minutes later just for me to pay my bill with a credit card and the restaurant was only 1/4 full. I never would have expected this coming from a restaurant that is in a Hilton ran hotel. I normally don’t give reviews but I thought this experience was bad enough that it deserved this review. Even the nice view of the ocean couldn’t save this awful review.

I was debating if I should do one star or two?
Anyhow… I attached pictures of $22 breakfast salmon sandwich .. owner should be ashamed of it and Hilton shouldn’t be adding their name next to this quality. Gas station on the side of a highway has a better quality food. And pics of mint that I got out of my drink $14 mojito . I Dont mind if paying the price they charge, but I DO expect quality.

My husband and I recently dined at Solstice located in the Hilton (formerly Dunes Manor). The recent $35 million renovation has elevated the property to new heights of beauty and refinement, setting the stage for an exquisite evening. We were blown away by the incredible flavors and impeccable service. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat.
I ordered the salmon, and it was a true culinary delight. My husband opted for the scallops, and he was equally impressed. The seared scallops had a delightful caramelized crust and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. We couldn’t resist ordering the crispy Brussels sprouts as a side dish, and they exceeded our expectations. Our guests made an excellent choice by ordering the filet mignon, which proved to be a true culinary triumph.
We highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu.
