Good was absolutely delicious and service super friendly and attentive. If I lived in the area I would come here all the time. This is family style servings so if you order an item it is a lot of food to share with your table.

Great food, good atmosphere and nice service, hidden gem.., outside looks simple but inside the restaurant is surprising. Been there couples of time and had spicy chicken , will lunch there again and again..

I had one of the best 떡만두국, Ricecake and Dumping soup. Wow, it was so delicious. The soup had the authentic Korean Dumping taste. The side dishes were also so good. I wish I had found this restaurant like 3 days ago. We were just visiting and was on our way up to SF today. So sad. Maybe next time we visit here again.

Ordered the Japchae vegetable and it was very tasty! Very delicious! 1st time ever eating Japchae from a restaurant and we loved it.
Very friendly service!
We took it to go so I can not say much for the atmosphere other than it seemed fine to me. No complaints.
Will come back to try other dishes if I don’t reorder Japchae, again.

Don’t sleep on trying this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem, and very unassuming both inside and outside. The service is great and the food is even better. Love the variety of banchan that they serve with the meals, and even picked up takeout to bring to Post No Bills for a game day with a friend. Awesome place, highly recommend. Get the combo tempura (best I’ve ever had) and the kimchi pancakes to start, and ask for the mustard oil if you want to add a spicy yummy kick to your food.

As a Korean person, I am very happy there is somewhere great to take my parents when they visit. Awesome flavors, fresh, good portions and pricing. Not overpriced like other Korean places in the area. If you are craving Korean in this area, don’t go anywhere else! I hope this restaurant stays and doesn’t change a thing.

Food was amazing! The best Korean food I’ve had since being in Monterey. Definitely recommend. The service was super good too. If you want to practice your Korean, this is a good place to do it. The staff is Korean and is okay with listening to your possibly broken Korean haha.

Second time I’ve been here both received poor service and food that is not from a typical authentic Korean restaurant. Ordered Bulkogi with Ssam and the Ssam included iceberg lettuce which is not what real Korean dishes include. I explained to the owner that all othe Korean restaurants don’t serve iceberg lettuce it should contain red leaf lettuce. He told me I was wrong lol I’m Korean and been to thousands of Korean restaurants and not one of them served iceberg lettuce. They also didn’t give us jalapeño, fresh garlic, and dweng jong. I had to ask for this as well. A couple months later I went in to order just a cup of Kimchi and was given a table spoon full of Kimchi in a small clear container and was charged 5.49. I explained to them they usually give me a cup and not a small side dish container. They told me it was going to be 20 dollars I said fine. They charged me 16.39 more so I gave hem 16.40 and the lady shut the cash register without giving me my penny lol. They came back with the cup of Kimchi that was not filled to the top. They absolutely lost me as a customer. I live in Monterey and this is the closest restaurant to me but now will make the drive to Marina where they have REAL AUTHENTIC KOREAN RESTAURANTS and the service is excellent!
