The dry rub on the fried chicken was nothing short of wizardry and now I’m cursed with the knowledge of the perfect meal. Side of fried okra and fried brussels sprouts – incredible. Went back for seconds the very next day. Secret ingredient was definitely love ✌️

I don’t even eat fried food but will make the exception for this place. Their fried chicken is crazy good. Usually I’ll get honey dusted or chicken and waffles but I decided to try something new and opted for steak and eggs. The presentation wasn’t all that, but the eggs tasted like butter, and the steak melted in my mouth. Highly recommend.

While visiting Tennessee we stopped in here for dinner, and tried fried green tomatoes for the first time! So so good!! I wish these were sold everywhere! We also good the fried chicken which had a “bee sting” seasoning on it, and it was perfectly spicy and kind of sweet and savory all at the same time.

Really delicious food!
Not too many people on a Monday evening. The food came fast and with mouth-watering flavor from start to finish. I tried the fried green tomatoes, and the sweet & spicy chicken and waffles. The crispy crunch and creamy grits balanced the acidity of the tomatoes amazingly. The combo of the sweet syrup and mildly spicy sauce for the chicken and waffles was also perfect.
Highly recommend and would definitely return for another memorable meal!

This downtown Knoxville spot is a true find! I was there on business and basically stumbled onto it on Market Street. The menu is so good it’s hard to choose, but I went with the shrimp and grits—definitely a win. Everyone else at the table loved their meals too. The staff were friendly, smart, and really made sure our meal went smoothly. Parking downtown was easy, which is always a relief. The atmosphere hits that nice balance of casual yet polished, making it great for a business lunch or dinner with friends. Fresh, flavorful food and excellent service—it’s exactly the kind of spot that makes you wish you lived nearby.

Had a great visit here! We tried the chicken and waffles, grilled chicken, and an omelet, and everything hit the mark. The standout for me? Those potatoes—they were crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The restaurant was buzzing when we arrived, but the wait wasn’t long at all, and the service was friendly and smooth. It’s one of those spots that manages to feel busy and lively without ever feeling chaotic. Perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch with friends. Everything was tasty, and the portion sizes were just right. If you’re in the area and looking for a solid meal that hits all the right notes, this place is worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m craving a hearty breakfast!

Love this place, their rosemary potatoes are always done to perfection, the shrimp and grits are a great choice. They are pet friendly having a pet menu. Service is always great. The mountain blue berry cold brew is delicious. My only complaint would be to have more coffee choice.

My mother and I arrived at Tupelo Honey slightly tipsy from our adventures at Alice and Appalachia (see my review for them). We were greeted by the absolute sunshine. A young woman with unnaturally colored yellow hair and guillotine necklace (I loved). She was just the sweetest kid. Anyway, first impression was awesome, we got seated and had a lovely server whose name I cannot remember but kind of looks like that Chef from the Bear show. Anyway, GREAT dinner. We didn’t order apps or dessert but what we had we loved. Service was fast and we inhaled as we are the kind of ladies who Hoover our food when slightly tipsy. Just a wonderful time. Downtown was lovely and we walked everywhere. I didn’t want to like this place as much as I did. Chains are usually not that great. Tupelo Honey is an exception to that rule. We will be back sometime soon!!!
