Feel sick? Soup. Feel hungry? Belly buster. Feel like a small snack? Any one of their salads or specialty sandwiches.
Let’s make sure they have enough people walking in the door and buying their food because this Place is excellent. Nampa can’t afford to lose Any good restaurants!

Food was all super fresh and hot and the staff super friendly!
Well done everyone!
I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu and get some of their specialty drinks.
What I ordered: Whole Cuban Sandwich, 24 oz. Caramel Smoothie w/ Boba, Miss Vickie’s BBQ Chips.
What it cost: $18.20 (before tip)
When I ordered: 5:45 on a Monday night.
When the food arrived: 5:51 (6 minutes)
Atmosphere: 3/5
I’m very conflicted about the vibes of this establishment. On one hand, the restaurant is very bright and colorful: giant picture menus showing off all of their food in their best light, a wall lined with just about any non-alcoholic drink you could ask for, cheddar-orange walls with checkerboard floors and packed full of tables for the size of the restaurant. On the other hand, it’s eerily quiet. No music, no talking from the folks working, and you can hardly hear any cooking while the chefs are working on your order. I dunno, maybe I’m the weird one, but the level of quiet is unsettling to me. Pretty restaurant, though.
Service: 5/5
The cashier was on the ball at all times, food came out quickly, and anybody I interacted with was just generally friendly. Pretty amicable folks 🙂
Sides/Drinks: 5/5
The caramel smoothie I had was wonderful! The caramel flavor was a more complex one than you normally see, less pure sugar, more rich and creamy with almost a hint of salt. Very easy to sip on. The boba is very good, as well. I ordered tapioca boba specifically, and it had a nice mild chewy texture with a mellow extra sugary sweetness. At six bucks for a 24-ounce shake and 8 for a 32-ounce, I find it reasonably priced. I definitely see myself getting another soon and want to sample plenty more of their flavors.
Entree: 2/5
Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich is good, hard to go wrong with a classic grilled ham and cheese with more cheese leather than you know what to do with. I definitely wouldn’t call it a Cuban sandwich, though. Not a speck of bacon or roast beef to be seen, unfortunately, and a bit light on the Dijon mustard, in my opinion. The price is absolutely the worst of it, though. Nine dollars for a sandwich you could make at home in ten minutes for about a quarter to a fifth of the price is ridiculous to me.
Overall: 15/20 (average of 3.75/5)
In my opinion, Soup Kettle Grille is worth your business just for the drinks and service alone. Good people, snappy service, and delicious drinks, though I’d more recommend taking it on the go, and the entrees (so far) leave a lot to be desired. I do plan on trying their breakfast sometime this weekend and updating my review, however, and I absolutely need to sample their soup and bread bowls at some point. Not a bad spot when you’re looking for a simple, filling meal.
