The menu here is a celebration of Greek classics done with real care. Every dish I tried had a freshness and depth that told me it wasn’t just thrown together — it was crafted. The spanakopita was buttery and crisp without being heavy, and the tzatziki had that refreshing brightness that makes every bite better. When my entrée arrived, the portion was generous, beautifully presented, and packed with bold, balanced flavors that felt traditional yet exciting.
What truly makes Acropol stand out is how they make you feel as a guest. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, checked in just the right amount of times, and offered great recommendations without being pushy. It’s clear this team takes pride in what they do — and they want every guest to enjoy the experience, not just the meal.
The vibe is lively without being noisy, perfect for anything from a relaxed dinner with family to a casual date night. And the best part? Every time I go back, it feels just as good as the first — consistent, delicious, and full of heart.
If you’re craving food that feels soulful, service that feels personal, and a dining experience that turns regular nights into memorable ones, Acropol Family Restaurant delivers. Five stars, no question — I’ll absolutely be returning again and again!
You wait forever for a server and even longer to get food. The breakfast was good so it’s a shame we won’t be returning.
There is a tall waitress with dark curly hair; she is a terrible waitress. She took 10 minutes to even come to our section, then she waited on another couple who had been there half the time waiting we had. She was screaming and yelling profanity across the restaurant at another couple who was leaving for the same reason.
Her language was awful as well and she thought it was so cute, laughing while screaming and using profanity across a restaurant. A supposed family restaurant…
I have never seen anything like it, and the manager (possibly owner) did nothing about it.
I strongly suggest going elsewhere and definitely steer clear of the trashy, foul mouthed, very tall waitress with black curly hair. EVERYTHING has gone down in quality here but especially the service.
The service was excellent, the food was delicious with generous portions, and I am happy we enjoyed our experience. It looks a little worn from the outside, but it’s clean and spacious inside. For a Wednesday evening, we were surprised at how busy it was.
I absolutely love the Greek salad, and I’ll be back just for that. It’s so hearty, and a generous portion without skimping on any goodies, like olives or feta. Everyone really enjoyed it. I also heard the soup was very good too.
The spanakopita was tasty, but could be improved with being more crispy. That’s my only suggestion. My mom enjoyed her BBQ chicken. They were kind enough to replace the usual fish (I think it was basa) with haddock at my aunt’s request. The moussaka and stuffed flounder were also great, I was told. And the green beans that accompanied some of the entrees was surprisingly tasty too.
An odd but still noteworthy comment is that the water is excellent. I realized I’ve been served so much bad drinking water at restaurants since moving to Florida, I appreciate when establishments take the time to properly filter water for their customers.
It was also nice that although we stayed there past closing time, we never felt rushed. The staff were very attentive and kind.
Although I don’t live in the area myself, my relatives who do enjoyed it so much, they can’t wait to go back and explore more items on the menu.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy fantastic food and service while spending quality family time together 🙂
