What an amazing restaurant! Dog friendly patio. Right in old downtown Auburn. The service was top notch! The food was even better! I had one of the craziest brunch meals I’ve ever had called the early bird two homemade Belgian waffles very good fried chicken breast sunny side up egg apple butter and ample pieces of thick bacon. It was uniquely amazing. My wife had the pot pie. My son had the fried pickles. We unanimously decided they were the best fried pickles we’d ever had. Great beer & wine selection. Oh and the homemade tater tots were probably the best I’ve ever had as well!

Fried pickles were over salted, we had to send back. French fries were cold. The chicken club was OK. To make it Nashville hot they use a Asian chilli oil which is not Nashville hot flavot.Lettuce wrap teriyaki chicken was over seasoned. The cabbage salad with the dressing was best part of meal

Great SERVICE from the moment we waked in the door; good job Jake! I wish I could remember everyone’s name to make this review more personal – You all were great. My Friend had the soup of the day while I had the Ale House Burger with extra bacon. If you not from Auburn I would recommend the trip, after you done enjoy the rest of Old Town. And if you live here and haven’t made it down here – What are you waiting for? My rating in exceptional, about the 5 stars.

We were visiting relatives in Auburn, and stopped here for lunch unplanned. Seated promptly, orders taken timely, despite a large lunch crowd. The bread loaf was a great pairing with our soup/chili. Next time we are in town we will try some entrees.

Love this spot. The cheese loaf is life. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. They have an amazing drink selection and a couple yummy mocktails also. The beers and cider on tap is awesome. The only complaint is they dont have more seating. It is always super packed no matter when I go. Understandably because its so delicious

The Real Deal is the Auburn Alehouse which delivers on starters and drinks….cheers!

Let’s kick it off with the atmosphere which is a very nice pub style restaurant with a full bar with seating, outdoor seating, big booths. The restaurant has branding items from magnets to shirts to hats which are
Nicely done!

Now let’s talk service which was pretty smooth. Food and drink delivery was timely with some input when asked for a newer waitress I was impressed.

Let’s go to the Main Event: the Food!! I’ve heard a lot of first hand reviews so I picked based on this. Started off with the Fried Pickles which were amazing, good crunch,
Seasoned to perfection (9/10). The Kids Cheeseburger was delicious and big (9/10). The Fried Chicken which is known signature dishes this is where this review took a turn, I’ve had chicken across the world so I have high expectations, the chicken cook was good, the breading needed more flavor and thicker coating since they drowned it in gravy and place on top of the mashed potatoes. Fried chicken (6/10), gravy (8/10) pretty good, mashed potatoes (5/10). The Red Sauce Tacos which were just ok and salty (3/10).
Tri Tip Sandwiches which the meat needed work and rest of the sandwich was good (6.5/10). The Side Salad was excellent with crispy cold bowl and Italian Vinaigrette dressing (10/10). Overall drinks yes, food hit and miss. Probably won’t be back to this one unless for a drink. Cheers!!

I was able to join a group of fellow hikers at this Ale House and it was so delightful! The patio is spacious and the selection of food went beyond just your typical brew pub food. I ordered the ahi nachos and it was fresh & delicious! They were extremely busy so it took a while to get our food delivered, but otherwise an excellent experience. Highly recommend if you are in the Auburn area!

This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with fantastic food, top-notch service, and a charming old-time atmosphere. And let me tell you, the ales here are bursting with flavor! Plus, they have a great selection of gluten-friendly options for all you foodies out there.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit this place a few times, and each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. The service is always on point, and the food is absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting up with a friend who’s about to embark on an incredible journey abroad. We sat at the bar, enjoying each other’s company for hours. And let me tell you, the views from this place are out of this world! I even managed to capture a stunning double rainbow . Talk about a picture-perfect moment!

This place is not only fun and enjoyable, but it’s also steeped in history. You can feel the vibrant energy and the stories that have unfolded within these walls. So, if you’re looking for a place with great food, amazing service, and a whole lot of fun, this is the spot for you! Don’t miss out on the chance to create your own unforgettable memories here.
Parking is a bit tricky, there are a few handicap spots around.

We ate dinner and had a beer on our way home from skiing. It was delicious food and a perfect beer pairing. I had the Brewmaster’s burger cooked medium (and it was!) My friend had the Rueben sandwich. We both requested extra crisp fries…they were! The beer pairings, Fools Gold Ale with the burger and the Old Town Brown with the Rueben, were spot on. Always a great experience at Auburn Alehouse. We’ll be back!
