A cozy pub serving comforting British classics. We had the Shepherd’s Pie and Fish & Chips – the pie was rich with super flavorful beef, and the fish was crispy with well-seasoned fries. A hearty & satisfying meal in a warm space.

Wednesdays and Fridays are all you can eat fish and chips for $20.49 And the fish is plump and juicy, and the batter is perfectly crispy and light. And the batter is not salty. The fried leeks are a bit pricey at $16 but it’s unique and interesting and there is a lot of of it. It’s enough to be a full meal since it’s deep-fried. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and it’s a great place to people watch. Parking is on the street for $2.50.

Duke of Perth is a longtime Scottish Pub and neighborhood gathering spot that has recently relocated to a larger space. We are happy that in the move all of the charm was retained, even if the floors are a now level.
The menu is essentially the same with old pub favorites like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherds pie anchoring the menu, while a variety of hearty and flavorful burgers provide plenty of sustenance. The “chips” are fresh hot and delicious. And you can’t go wrong with any of the mainstays or burgers. Tonight we enjoyed bangers and mash with locally hand made sausages and the hearth fire burger, which includes onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes, and blue cheese. The melding of these flavors is magnificent.
There are several taps including British and Scottish ales as well as several local brews. And, though not my thing, there is a wide variety of Scotch.

Best of the Best!!!! It’s very rare that I’ll visit the city of Chicago and don’t make it a point to go enjoy some fish and chips and a proper Scottish Ale and or Stout… best selection of scotch malt in the the Mid-west

First time we went since they moved. Bigger place which is good, harder area to park in. Food remains solid but the kitchen is an assembly line as it the overall vibe, at least during busy times. Scratched an itch but unless you’re dead set on maximizing the all you can eat fish and chips angle or live nearby there might be better options. I actually got the bangers and mash and it was a pretty straightforward rendition.

Duke of Perth is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Jack/Colin and GM Mike and bartender Max and server Maria is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great Shepard pie. Very well run and I like the ambience. Must come back. 10/10.

This place has the best Tuesday all you can eat fish fry! Tender, fluffy, moist lightly breaded filets with fries and peas. Portions are very generous. Staff was attentive, inviting and create a chill environment. The atmosphere inside is always calm and chill. I really enjoyed the outside seating area during my last visit with the lights and umbrellas..might suggest a little TLC with the flowers and seating set up. I have been to several “fish fry” locations in Lincoln park & Lakeview.. this is definitely the best..ps. I also give the Shepards pie and stout on draft a thumbs up.

I had their fish and chips (what they are known for) and it was very mediocre. Not to say it was bad but not good. The fish was somewhat soggy not crispy and the fries were good. I would say the fries were the best part of the dish. The atmosphere seems cozy and I suppose if you wanted a beer it could be charming. However lots of better options for food.
