The assistant manager greeted me right away, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Eating solo, I settled at the bar. The chicken sandwich was outstanding—juicy grilled chicken, perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh lettuce and tomato on a soft, toasted bun. The fries were remarkable: crispy golden exteriors, fluffy interiors, and just the right amount of salt. Every bite was delicious and satisfying.
The modern, spacious interior added to the pleasant experience in the empty afternoon hush. I’ll definitely return soon to enjoy more of this excellent food and welcoming service at the bar.
And the restaurant itself has a chill vibe. The decor is very fun and playful. I definitely want to experience dinner here next time!
We ordered the Crunchy Spicy Tuna roll and it came out with avocado even though the ingredients didn’t list it. Sierra was quick to get us a replacement.
For the entrees we got the Chilean Sea Bass, Lemon Penne Pasta, and the Filet. All were good. I do think the steak was overpriced for the quality. The steak was also undercooked slightly, (ordered medium rare got rare to blue) but we were warned about that beforehand and it wasn’t an issue as I am fine with rare steak. Just a fair warning to others.
The interior was very nice and modern which we appreciated.
Overall, pretty good food if not a little expensive for what you get.
I hate McDonald’s and I would have rather eaten there. This was my first visit and my last.
What a terrible experience! We were seated (no wait) and not greeted by a server for over 30 minutes. I stood up and told the hostess that we were ready to order and we would like a server to come to our table. We waited another 20 minutes and we’re served waters. I greeted the server and she completely ignored us and walked away from the table. No introduction, no apology, no explanation. Ten more minutes went by and then we decided to leave. I asked to speak to the manager on the way out and I asked him if there was something wrong with the kitchen or the staff because we hadn’t been attended to for over 40 minutes and he explained that they had some servers call out and asked if he could take our order and bring us out our food ASAP to which we agreed. After we finished eating and waited some more I asked our server for the bill and we were having some technical issues so the manager told us he would take care of it.
Hands down the worst FREE dining experience ever lol. My wife loves this restaurant and I hope that someone reaches out to me about this experience so we have an excuse to go back and allow them to make it right.
We had such a wonderful experience at Kona Grill! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming. Our server, Rex, went above and beyond — he was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly taken care of throughout the night.
The food was outstanding — from fresh and flavorful sushi, to perfectly cooked steak and a variety of seafood options. There’s something for everyone here, and everything we tried was delicious. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and paired perfectly with the meal.
We also loved the rooftop patio — it offers stunning views and such a relaxing vibe. This place is a true gem, and we can’t wait to come back!
Our server was polite but clearly behind. We started with two appetizers — the Avocado Egg Rolls (very good, great sauce) and the Rainbow Roll (decent). The food took quite a while to arrive, and after finishing, we ordered a dinner salad, BBQ Chicken Flatbread, and Pad Thai Noodles. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely slow — more than 30 minutes — and when the food finally came, only two of the three dishes arrived.
I waited another 10 minutes for my Pad Thai, which was overcooked and missing the chicken that was supposed to be included. For $39, it was very disappointing — just a few small shrimp (overdone) and no chicken.
Throughout the evening, the server repeatedly apologized for the kitchen delays, but no manager ever checked in. When I finally asked to speak with the manager, it took another 10 minutes for the GM, Cordell, to come by. He didn’t seem aware of the situation or the delays, and never offered a genuine apology or any attempt to make things right. I also noticed several dirty tables sitting unbussed for over 20 minutes, which added to the poor impression of teamwork and leadership.
A restaurant’s tone is set by its management, and unfortunately, that was very clear here. A sincere apology or a small gesture could have gone a long way, but instead, we left feeling ignored and disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning anytime soon. He did take off $125 only because I refused to pay. He honestly could of made a huge impact by returning to the table after discounting the food and apologizing and inviting us back in for a better visit
