Cafe Maspero is a very relaxed restaurant. I visited here as with a party of 6 and we were 1 of two parties at the restaurant.
While the restaurant seemed quite quiet, the food was good. I ordered the chicken jambalaya plate and enjoyed it. The chicken pieces were seasoned very well but the rest of the dish left more to be desired with respect to taste.

Nice restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The place is open and airy. I had the roast beef poboy.

We came here on our first day as soon as we landed we were starving and it was the closest restaurant to our hotel. CJ was amazing and made us feel very welcome. Our server was great and the food was good. We had a muffuletta and a po’ boy! Both were yummy!

Very relaxed restaurant. We were sat at our table with a view of the kitchen by the GM. Mak was our server and she was cool and gave the recommendation for what I ordered, the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with melted Swiss cheese. It was delicious.
My partner ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and there was a generous amount of shrimp and the roll was fresh.
After we finished our meal the GM told me they just revamped the recipe for the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich so now the gravy is warm when the sandwich is assembled. I felt like this was a good idea.
I saw multiple people order the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich so it is definitely a popular choice.

Sat at the bar with Eric. He was awesome!!! Gave us a lot of insight of places to go listen to music and the service was also great!! I got al a carte items: fried chicken with a side of gravy, cheddar grits & chicken sausage for brunch FABULOUS. My boyfriend got the eggs Benedict and he loved it as well. Highly recommend the Blackberry Sangria carafe. Best bang for your buck and it was delicious.

Stop for a late night meal. Wife had a shrimp. Poor boy with steak fries and red beans and rice. And I had the hamburger steak with mac and cheese and cornbread. Food was very very good and service was also very good. Good place to stop for a late night meal when everything else is closing.

First experience with beignets and it was totally amazing. The honey biscuit was outstanding. We got the New Orleans platter. We loved it so much that we went to our first morning and our last morning the service was impeccable. The restaurant was so interesting with all of the pictures and memorabilia, sidewalk facing table made all of the people watching even more enjoyable. on my next trip, I will definitely make it back there. It is definitely on the repeatable menu anytime in New Orleans Orleans.
