Incredible! All the staff was nice but we had Clayton who actually cared about us. The Shrimp Po-boy was the best ever. I’ve had them in many places, even on the beach and those were good but these are #1. My wife’s meatloaf sandwich was excellent also. The shrimp were huge, perfectly cooked and so tasteful. If your ever close to Columbus GA, it would be worth making a visit there. A nice menu and very reasonable pricing.

The atmosphere is cozy & quaint. The service was spot on. We had the fried bacon with honey Tabasco sauce as an appetizer. It was very tasty. The heat does build though. For the main course, I had the fish (grouper) & chips with the pineapple casserole. My wife had the meatloaf with Mac & cheese and pineapple casserole. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend giving it a taste. You’ll love it!

I could not be more thrilled after choosing the Black Cow to host our retirement party! The staff was absolutely amazing – Denise, Brian, Kristi – y’all make planning and coordinating an event a breeze. I didn’t have to be nervous or anxious. The place has so much character and your staff is incredible!!!! I will use you again in the future!

Came here tonight while visiting town. They had lobster tots on the menu I decided to try them. They were phenomenal. Then I had their ribeye steak. That was amazing. Met two really friendly locals that were nice people. The service here was great as well. The bartender was a hard worker who never lost pace or slowed down. Definitely a good place to eat if you’re in the Columbus, Georgia area.

The Black Cow is hands down one of the best places to eat in Columbus! The food is excellent, and the service is always friendly and attentive. It’s definitely a popular spot—by early evening the place is already buzzing with energy.

My go-to is the Chicken and Waffles—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced every time. My wife had the steak salad, which was good, though it came with a little too much blue cheese for her taste. One thing we couldn’t help but notice was how many tables around us ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes—they’re clearly a favorite here and looked fantastic.

The atmosphere is great—small, cozy, and full of character. If you’re in Columbus, The Black Cow is a must-visit for both the food and the vibe.

Great place! We love this place and try and come when we are in town. The chicken and grits!! It was the winner tonight. Wonderful Cajun sauce and interesting combination of flavors! The chicken and artichokes were fabulous, too.
The fried green tomato stack appetizer with slices of goat cheese is one you won’t forget!

This restaurant is located downtown. The hostess was a lil strange, but she was nice I sat at the bar since it was just me. I had the Salmon BLT and fries. Delicious! Would’ve liked to taste more of the BLT dip on the sandwich, but other than that it was good and well constructed.
It was clean and it’s family friendly. If I go back to Columbus, I’ll go there again.

Stopped here for lunch when visiting during a conference. The restaurant is a cute southern theme place located downtown. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was delivered promptly and was delicious. My husband had the cheeseburger and I had the Georgia hot and sticky grilled chicken sandwich–which ranks as probably my favorite chicken sandwich of ALL TIME!

The food was great, as was the service. All very filling! I would strongly recommend making reservations especially on the weekends. I’d recommend the wings for a starter, the fried green tomatoes and any of their burgers.
