I opened my bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel and thought “this must be a joke”. The egg and bacon didn’t even cover both halves of the bagel. Flavor was basic – it was pretty much an overpriced frozen breakfast sandwich. I also got an everything bagel with cream cheese and caramel iced latte with oat milk. They only get one star because the everything bagel was decent and had a good amount of cream cheese. The latte was also terrible in regards to taste. It tasted like it didn’t even have espresso and it was warm because there was barely any ice. Super disappointed in price and quality. Wil not be back.

Went at 1210 last weekend on a Friday, walked in and lights were off, cashier looks at me and goes. Closed. I said your sign says open until 2? He goes. Nah closed. Turned around and left. Judging by others pictures of food here I’m glad they did us that service. Won’t be returning

Fun little bagel shop along the strip to walk to. They have many options to choose from. They are vegan / Dairy free friendly. Get here early they open at 7am and close at 2pm. This shop is also located steps to the beach which is nice to take a sandwich on the beach for a morning breakfast. They have bagels, muffins, cookies, smoothies, coffee, bagelinis!! Of course they also have a large variety of cream cheese’s to choose from. Be on the look out for the Shmagels coupon in the OC City coupon book. I’m giving 3 stars because the coffee was cold and the bagel was very tough. But in the end everything else was good. Maybe next time it will be better.

But come out and give this place a try. Support a local business!!!

Stopped in for bagels for breakfast. Ordered 2 bagels mine toasted and my wife requested hers to be extra toasted. We ordered and paid. As we were waiting for our order the next customer ordered. The same staff person told that customer when they said toasted that their toaster was broken. Really she said nothing to us even when we wanted both our bagels toasted. Our bagels got heated in a microwave. They were horrible. If you would have told us we would have gotten something else. Very poor customer service. Maybe the forgot??? But shouldn’t a bagel shop have a back up toaster just in case your first one breaks? I would. We will not be going back.

Huge vegan selection! Clearly labeled vegan friendly options for bagel flavors they have vegan butter, cream cheese, slice cheese, sausage, bacon, and egg to choose from.

Only real issue was the bagel not getting toasted, or if it was then just barely. I have no issues waiting an extra few minutes for it, but others might so I understand.

Could not express how great the service is and how nice and friendly the atmosphere was. Truly helped make what I wanted even better, which was a relaxing breakfast sandwich in front of the ocean.

I read the reviews and I saw the poor comments were more about some personnel than the food. We arrived at the perfect time because the line went down the block when we left. With 6 bagels and a muffin ordered, no one was disappointed. I only had time to snap one picture of the rainbow bagel with cinnamon sugar cream cheese. Everything was delicious, making this place great for breakfast. Service wasn’t too quick but everyone behind the counter was kind and helpful and patient. It is worth the try!

A major disappointment. This place had no griddle and instead microwaves their eggs. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and I think I would have been better off going to McDonalds and getting an Egg McMuffin!

I noticed there was a Dunkin’ nearby, but I wanted to support a local business instead. Below is my detailed review:

PROS:
• Very friendly staff.
• If you need a kosher menu, they have a separate section dedicated to kosher items. (My review is based solely on the regular menu, not the kosher offerings.)
• Ordered the French toast for my toddler, she didn’t like them, but I thought they were okay.

CONS:
• Overall, the food quality was lacking.
• I ordered a hot coffee. The menu listed light roast and dark roast options, but when I stated my preference to the cashier, she said there was only one roast available and couldn’t confirm which one it was. While not a major issue, the coffee I received wasn’t very good in taste. Wawa has better tasting brewed coffee.
• The bagels were noticeably smaller than Dunkin’ or traditional NY-style bagels, and they didn’t taste fresh or high quality. My egg and cheese bagel came with a processed-looking egg patty, similar to Dunkin’s, when I was expecting a freshly cooked egg.

Bottom line: I can’t recommend this place based on value and quality. I have higher expectations for authentic coffee and bagels, as well as real eggs in breakfast sandwiches. If you’re looking for a kosher menu, it may be worth checking out their offerings, but I personally won’t be returning.
