Not my kind of place, it was crowded and expensive for what it is. The brisket tastes like Spam and I paid $13 for 8 tiny pieces of catfish. I’m used to paying $14.99 for all you can eat with fries and sides. Too me none of the food tasted like it should be called famous anything. The corn was good and the service was pretty good. The young lady did a good job. I enjoyed my salad and they did have Arnold Palmers. I probably won’t go there again. It wasn’t terrible it is just not my kind of place at all and the brisket isn’t worth going somewhere meh to eat. I can get better brisket(less expensive too) from the food truck that comes around.

1/5 stars: Horrible food and incredibly rude management ruined our first visit.
Our first and only time at Famous Dave’s was a complete disappointment due to a severe combination of bad food and rude managerial behavior. The only positive part of our experience was our kind and sweet server, who was attentive and a bright spot in an otherwise terrible evening.
We ordered the feast for two and were served inedible meat.
The chicken was slimy, undercooked, and had a pink appearance.
The ribs were dried out.
The brisket was grossly undercooked and still had significant, uncooked marbling.
When our compassionate server took our concerns to the manager, we were forced to wait an unnecessarily long time for a response. The manager eventually came to our table and was incredibly rude and dismissive. She sternly declared, “I’ll take it off for you this time, but the food was actually fine,” without offering any apologies or an option for a replacement.
The manager’s disrespectful and defensive tone showed a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction or food safety. We would have appreciated the food being replaced, but we were never given the option. For a first impression, this experience was beyond terrible. We will not be returning.

This was my first time here at this location. I’ve had famous Dave in the past and it was great. But not here. I ordered the 3 meat platter off the dinner menu and it was a disappointment. It was not busy at all and the food took about 30 min to come out. I figured the food must be fresh therefore I didn’t mind the wait. Boy was I wrong!! THE RIBS WERE HORRIBLE very tough , brisket was dry and the rib tips were small and barely had any. IDK if the cook had a bad day but comparing my platter to others review mine had to be the worse . I paid $30 before tip just to be disappointed and unsatisfied … definitely not award wining like they claim ☹️

This is the second time I’ve ordered curbside take out and both times very quick service. There was so much food! 4 adults couldn’t eat it all. We got 2 meals out of it for all of us!
And the price was great!

Server was Brandon T. He gave excellent service. Very nice and accommodating. I ordered a mango tea and didn’t realize it was also made with sweet tea, so he remade it for me with unsweetened tea. I had the stuffed baked potatoe with beef brisket side was sweet corn and it came with a cornbread muffin. It came out fast, and was delicious. It was a lot of food for under $12. I shared some and still took some home.
Thank you so much Brandon! Everything looked clean inside. We had a great experience 1/27/26

There is something about Famous Daves that just draws me in and has for many years. It isn’t the best BBQ out there. But it is good. And when I want BBQ for lunch this is where I go. Staff are pretty quick to take care of you. The food seems pretty consistent every time I go. The BBQ sauces are decent. Prices are a little steep especially if you want premium meats. I wish there was less bread and more meat. Either way it’s not great. It’s not bad. It’s just good. Steady and solid BBQ for a chain restaurant.

Great service. Decent food. Atmosphere is nothing special but nothing offensive.
I had the 3-meat lunch combo for 15$. I wish there was an option for un-sweet pork. Salt&Pepper&Garlic ribs – but no. Almost every pork dish is sugary. It’s 2026. Keep the sweet options for the Boomers and Asians.

You get what you pay, especially with their lunchtime deals, which are available daily, including weekends. This location was unique as it reminded me of a sports bar, so I was confused whether this was a barbecue joint or a sports grill chain. The food is decent enough, but the Carolina pork or whatever it’s called is very dry. It does not look like the picture and the food comes out at different temperatures. I really enjoyed the rib tips or rib ribs. I can’t remember what they were called and the three sauces were all delicious in their own right. The staff tell personal stories very loudly in the back bar area and servers are rarely seen except for the three table touch minimum. I did enjoy the mac & cheese! I really enjoyed the cornbread, which was almost like a cake, so I took home six to go. It ran me $9 or so. I really recommend them during their lunchtime special! But outside those hours, The prices and quality just do not seem like a value to me. I have eaten barbecue all over the country. My virgin, I think I even ate at one of these places in Buffalo New York don’t quote me on that…decent enough for four ⭐️’s because I’m nice

Excellent food and great service. We started with the happy hour wings and fried pickles, a really good deal, then we both had the 3 meat plate. The brisket, burnt ends, and ribs were all very tasty. The loaded mashed potatoes and Wilbur beans were very good as well. The bread pudding for the dessert was warm, sweet, and well worth trying. Very good quality food at a reasonable price.

Famous Dave’s BBQ offered the perfect solution for a relaxing family meal at home without the hassle of cooking or grilling. Their mouthwatering BBQ selections brought the essence of a home-cooked meal to our table, with each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection, as if I prepared it myself…(even better, because I’m not that great of a cook). But, the take home meal, was the perfect atmosphere at home. It was welcoming and cozy, with the great home style taste of BBQ. From the tender smoked meats to the rich, savory sides, everything was delightfully satisfying. The pick up service was friendly and attentive, ensuring my meal was ready in time. Leaving a seamless takeout dining experience. This meal was not just food; it was a refreshing escape from cooking that satisfied our BBQ cravings. Famous Dave’s truly lived up to its reputation today, and it’s a place we’ll return to whenever we need a delicious, fuss-free BBQ family meal.
