I love McDonald’s coffee. Is usually fresh and strong. The way I like it. If you was to get a bad cup just tell him you like to have a fresh cup. I do like their fries and hamburgers! I will be back and recommended it to the others. Especially for kids. I like to get the Happy Meal Yes its is for kids. But I’m just a big kid at heart. Lol Well got there it was cold in there. I told them and it wasn’t long l felt like l was setting in front of a fireplace drinking my coffee. Y’all, please be patient with New workers. They are learning. McDonald’s is my kind of place. Stars all the way!

Hold onto your golden arches because we’ve got another short review. First thing to know: if you are coming from across the road to this mcdonalds, it will take some work. Second thing to know: it is a McDonald’s. What’s that? You want to know a third thing? Well bad news, there’s not a third thing.

This one was a new one for me so I felt like it needed to be addressed. Never have I ever been to a fast food place and was served a wrapper neatly folded, with nothing in it. It’s hard to believe that was an accident but who knows.

Loving this place more now. They seemed to hit kinks after remodel but now it’s GREAT Crystal and team are rocking it!!!! I love the 80s music playing with a mix of decent new stuff the volume was NOT to loud while I rested reading my book at lunchtime. Sometimes restaurants have it too loud or none at all they had it perfect. GREAT customer service and vibe. I LOVE the large space and cozy books to sit and work or read or have conversations with people. I LOVE they have plenty of outlets for people to charge phones or laptops (like me) when working on a project. I love eating here now. The atmosphere and FOOD are stellar.

Absolutely the worst McDonalds ever DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I got a quarter pounder and it looks like the wax paper for either the cheese or the burger patty got left on the burger and after a couple bites of spitting stuff out I realized what it was and pulled it off. How dumb can you be to leave it on there.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible! Good luck getting someone to come to the counter. I stood there & said “excuse me” about 10 times & the workers looked at me like they were afraid to speak to a human. Finally the guy “working the front” came around the corner. All I needed was some ketchup & bbq sauce (it was on my receipt). Will never be back.

We came last night at 8pm after just getting off a 3 hr rd trip . Just figured i would stop real quick on my way home . Boy was that a mistake. We pull into the mobile order spots and place an order . Ten minutes go by . Nothing. 20 min . Nothing. Finally I send my 18 year old son in to ask what’s happening. Is nobody at the counter . All the employees look like they are doing all they can frantically making food . Was at least 6 angry customers in there waiting for food . Cars were literally everywhere in the parking lot . Half hr got our food and let’s too if off with a rude Asian kid bringing our food . We love McDonalds but this one has been a let down multiple times for my family. Would have been very easy and quick to inform people at the start of the 30 min wait that they are behind and understaffed . I know it’s hard to find workers these days and stuff happens. I guess I’m just pissed they left us waiting for 30 minutes without so much as an explanation.

I have ordered in several occasions on door dash or grub hub and i can count in one hand that my order has been correct. You ask for a qtr pounder deluxe and get a reg quarter pounder minus all the deluxe items. You order an unsweet tea and get sweet. You wait forever for your order whether you are there or delivery. This store at 50 Glen Rd needs an overhaul. You are paying your employees $17+ per hour and getting $4 per hour service

This location is forever out of, or something is not working. For example, I’ve visited this location three times in one month and they didn’t have shakes because the machine was down. Here’s another good one…I drive 15 minutes because I had a taste for sweet tea and when I get there, guess what they don’t have? You guessed it, Sweet Tea! I can maybe understand milkshakes but being out of Sweet Tea?

How do you run out of sweet tea? It’s three ingredients…Filtered water (I hope), steeped tea (from tea bags), and simple syrup (concentrated water and sugar). I would say someone dropped the ball on that big time being Sweet Tea is a Southern Staple to which I learned when I moved to North Carolina.

This location tends to get orders wrong quite often as well. Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to call them to tell them my order order received was incorrect and they had to replace it. Which in many cases, is an inconvenience for me as I don’t travel that area very often. Like tonight, I couldn’t get the sweet tea so I had to get that from a neighboring fast food restaurant but I ordered my Granddaughter a 6pc Chicken Nugget Happy Meal w/Apple slices and Apple Juice with BBQ sauce. Well…We got the 6pc will double fries which were cold my Granddaughter said and no dipping sauce AT ALL. And for a seven year old who absolutely loves “The M” as she calls McDonald’s, frustrates me and is disheartening to her. Shouldn’t a dipping sauce be a given when you order Nuggets? Smh.

In my younger days, I worked in a competing fast food restaurant and if the type of service I receive from this restaurant happened back then, after one warning, if it happened again, that crew would be fired.

Everyone there from the managers who don’t want to tell you their name on down to the person in drive-thru should have mandatory customer service and operations accuracy training before they are allowed to put on a uniform.

Get it together folks! You’re in the business of Customer Service which I have worked for 30+ years as an employee and business owner, so I’m well aware of how it should be done.

Formal Incident Complaint (Draft)

Date: Monday, December 22, 2025
Time: Approximately 8:50 a.m.
Location: McDonald’s, 50 Glen Road, Garner, NC

On the above date and time, I went to pick up a delivery order at the McDonald’s located at 50 Glen Road in Garner, NC.

As I was exiting the restaurant, a female employee was sweeping directly outside the doorway. I was holding my delivery in my left hand and opened the door outward with my right hand. I paused and waited for the employee to move so I could safely exit, as the door opened toward her and she was positioned directly in front of it.

Despite seeing the door open and my attempt to wait, the employee continued sweeping and did not make space for me to pass. When she momentarily stopped sweeping to use her phone, I attempted to exit quickly. At that point, she resumed sweeping abruptly, and the broom struck the back of my heel.

I stopped and calmly told her that sweeping into me was rude and unnecessary. In response, the employee became verbally aggressive, began cursing, and spoke in an unprofessional manner.

I returned inside the restaurant and requested to speak with a manager. A female manager came out with me, and I explained what had happened. When we approached the employee outside, the manager stated that the employee was “only fifteen and autistic.” No apology was offered, nor was there any attempt to de-escalate the situation or acknowledge the physical contact and verbal behavior.

The interaction left me frustrated and disappointed, particularly due to the lack of accountability and professionalism from management. This location has a history of poor customer service, including delayed and missing orders, and this incident further reflects ongoing issues.

I am submitting this complaint to formally document the incident and request that appropriate steps be taken to improve employee supervision, customer safety, and management response at this location.
