The food was fantastic, we specifically enjoyed the beef drunken noodles and thai curry noodles! Medium spice level was perfect for us, but the curry noodles had a more kick (still enjoyable on a chilly night). Service and experience was great. Thankful to have a local Thai place serving halal chicken and beef. Will definitely revisit soon!

Very friendly cafe with some of the best Thai food we have had in the Triangle. Offer a dry noodle bowl that was excellent. Plus they have homemade sauces which taste perfect for Thai dishes. Lots of parking. Highly recommend.

We went to this place today and ordered Yentafo and Egg noodle. Everything tastes great and very authentic. The owner, Paul is very friendly and welcoming. It’s good to know that the chef is Thai because she knows what the original should taste like. Highly recommend.

The shrimp wonton noodle soup here is hands-down the best I’ve had anywhere around the Triangle. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful — light but deeply savory, with that comforting depth you usually only find in authentic Thai and Vietnamese kitchens. It tastes like something straight out of Bangkok or Hanoi.

The shrimp wontons are perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with fresh flavor. The noodles have the ideal texture, and everything comes together beautifully in every bite. You can tell real care goes into the balance of the broth and ingredients.

If you love authentic Southeast Asian flavors, this is a must-try. It truly rivals the best Thai and Vietnamese soups I’ve had — and that’s saying something

Great Thai food! Everything is halal and they don’t serve pork, which is a huge plus. The owner, Paul, is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the drunken chicken noodles, tom yum soup, and beef salad, everything was cooked to perfection. The food was delicious and authentic. Definitely recommend Hope Thai Cafe!

The food is soooooo good!!!! In NYC this would be at my top choices.

The Thai Beef Salad is full of rich flavors. Savory, Tart, and a bit spicy. It is a small dish that does not come with noodles but ask for a side of rice noodles and it is perfection! If it’s on its own it can be overwhelming and salty (but that is also how the dish is supposed to be).

My friend got the Drunken Noodles with Chicken and she loved it!

Will definitely come back again.

The whole staff is really nice and friendly. Paul is really like the sweet Uncle who gets really happy to see people enjoying their food.

The Art on the walls are beautiful and for Sale. He supports a local artist.

Highly recommend trying them out.

The food was perfect.

The portions are a good size. The vegetable option is great for Vegetarians. I am not sure if they do Vegan, so I cannot speak to the preparation.

For Thai food and noodles it is one of the best. I believe we were served by the owner. He informed us that his wife made the coconut ice cream herself.

The Mango Sticky rice used Thai Mangoes and that does matter.

It’s a very simple menu and done well.

The coconut ice cream includes 2 scoops for sharing.

It’s a great option for Thai.

I came with a party of three other people. Appetizers arrived very quickly, but there’s not much: Two eggrolls $8, fried beef balls cut into quarters $13. Every dish was sugary sweet with lots of cabbage. Not my palette. Not recommended.
