Had an impromptu stop in Tallahassee on my way to a business meeting and took my son (student at FSU) to Harry’s after seeing many positive reviews. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Possibly my favorite part was our server, Paige. She was just lovely and warm. She kept our glasses full the whole evening, and accommodated my son’s request for the tenderloin and shrimp scampi to go over pasta as his side with a smile and charm. She had recommendations at the ready, and we weren’t made to feel rushed at all. Great place, and I already told my husband he needs to try it when he comes for father/son weekend next month.

We loved this place it was great. The staff was kind and peaceful, very quiet environment and I think classy. The food was delicious and full of flavor now that’s what I’m talking about. If you are ever in Tallahassee, be sure to eat at the restaurant. The food is excellent. A group of us traveled to the Capitol. The restaurant is considered to be part of Florida A&M University. We had lunch here the first day and return with as a larger group for Dinner the following night for dinner. I had the glazed Salmon, with smashed potatoes and vegetables. I also ordered a fried grits patties that my colleague try for lunch the previous day and it was exquisite.
Our waitress was Aliana. She was wonderful but I observed how busy the place was and she was in high demand with lots of hangry patrons that were impatient with the long wait for there orders to arrive. Aliana was not rude, like one in my company stated. She was super busy and was doing the best she could.
We as a people need to encourage hard workers instead of complaining because of our own impatience, as one of the ladies in my party did.
I highly recommend Harry’s to everyone because I can guarantee that there is something on the menu for you.

Andouille Crusted Grouper is the best! Crab cakes were amazing, wait time was minimal (15-20mins for a Saturday night), food was fresh and delicious. It was a busy night but we were satisfied with our experience ☺️

Consistently good food. I’ve tried the red fish and grits prepared slightly different each way and they were both delicious. The chicken and grits was good as well, but the red fish takes the win. Customer service is always great and I’m usually seated and in and out within my work lunch.
