Honestly, Texas Roadhouse is hit or miss. We’ve had great experiences here, but we’ve also had bad experiences here. The first time we came was a couple of years ago, and my mother’s steak was not cooked properly (overdone). We gave them some grace because we found out they were training a new cook, but it took quite a length of time for us to get our meal.
The next time we visited was during a holiday. New Year’s Eve, actually. We knew it was going to be unbelievably busy, so we decided to order to-go. I placed the order in advance for pick-up at 6:00. When I arrived, they were absolutely swamped with orders. This wasn’t surprising. However, I still wasn’t happy that I had to wait an hour and a half past my pick-up time to get my food. They kept telling me that it was still being cooked. They were organizing all the orders, and when I finally got my food, it was cold. It had been cooked for a while, and I just hadn’t received it.
The third time we went to this location was recently, and we had a great experience. I was visiting with a friend and my two adult children, and we loved the atmosphere. The people that were sitting around us were all having just as much fun chatting as we were, so we weren’t worried about being loud, which is normal for us when we really get into a conversation with one another. We ordered our steaks a certain way because we knew that this location never cooks the steaks correctly. It turns out, the chef that was working the night that we ate here knew how to cook a sirloin steak correctly, but did not know how to cook whatever steak my daughter ordered (I wish I could remember what it was, but I don’t – it was a larger, thicker cut of meat, if that helps). While my steak arrived rare, which is how I ordered it, and my son’s steak arrived medium, my daughter’s steak arrived raw. The server was very gracious in taking it back to the kitchen and asking them to put it back on the grill for just a few minutes. All of our other food was cooked correctly. It was delicious!
So if you visit this location, order your steak one level lower than you actually want it. If they undercook it, you can always ask them to put it back on the grill for a minute or two. If they overcook it, it’s kind of hard to uncook a steak, and you could be waiting longer for your meal as they make a new one.

The online ordering and pick up process was easy. The portion for the Caesar salad was huge. However, I found a dead caterpillar in my salad and could not continue eating it.

Absolutely wonderful food, and experience! Today is my sons 14th birthday, and they celebrated with their traditional saddle ride! I definitely recommend eating there for any occasion.

I went here for dinner. The wait was about 15 minutes, not too long.
The food: They start you out with the amazing fresh baked bread and cinnamon honey butter.
I was going to have the Prime Rib but they ran out. I ended up going with the Rib Eye Steak, it was good, they cooked it perfectly. I also had the baked potato and chili for the sides. The chili was very good, full of great flavors and tender meat. The baked potato was also made just right.
Atmosphere: It has a country theme throughout. It’s nice because they allow you to pay right at your table, they also take contactless payments with your phone.
People: Super friendly and helpful. They checked in with me often, but not too much, just right.
I would return when in the area.
Bicycling: The roads were all high speed. I don’t think there were any trails nearby. They also don’t have outdoor seating.

I ordered 4 meals all steaks 2 medium & 2 medium well. When I first picked up my order I noticed one of my steaks looked over cooked and frankly very small. The lovely staff was able to change that piece of steak. However upon getting home we noticed all our steaks well done! On top of that the steak that was replaced was medium rare almost rare. Very disappointed and left feeling like our money was not well spent this time.

I have been to many restaurants in my life, but Texas Roadhouse is one of my top three! The service is exemplary; I love watching the steaks being flamed grilled. The beef tips were grilled to perfection. The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was their lemonade. It wasn’t refreshing. If you get a chance, stop in to relax and enjoy!

I always come to this location and usually the food is amazing but I did a pick up order on 1/7 and the food was just terrible! The cinnamon butter was just hard warm butter with a splash of cinnamon. The steak was badly burnt and dry as well as the country fried steak. I reported it on their website. The next day I received a voicemail from Kim from the location and wow can I just say that was the most RESPECTFUL voicemail about a complaint I have ever received. She gladly refunded my purchase and apologized! Kim you are amazing at your job and I appreciate you!!! Texas Roadhouse corporate you got a good one in Green Bay!

It’s always a good sign when the manager is asking customers how their meal is and is interacting with the customers. This was our first time at Texas Roadhouse and it was a very nice experience. I got the fish and chips with a salad and a sweet tea. My friend ordered the pork chop. He enjoyed it quite a lot. The bread was so soft and the cinnamon butter was stellar. Great place with cute southern atmosphere.
