The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and attentive. My friend is vegan and they graciously accommodated his needs with vegan alternatives. Also, the food is a great value – I ordered a half plate and the portions were still generous. I highly recommend this venue.

1st time eating here. Loved the green sauce enchiladas. Chips were hot and fresh. They do have their own unique salsa. I dont personally like sweet salsa, though. They do have a taco salsa(really good) you can ask for which is like at normal Mexican restaurants. My daughter had the nachos and enjoyed them. They give you plenty of food for your money. Will be coming back here when I come through again. Exceptional service. Jose was very attentive. My drink or chips were never empty

We had a good experience at Los Cuates on a Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly and attentive. We no sooner placed our order and lunch was served. Mrs S enjoyed the Combo Frank—chicken taco, cheese enchilada and a chile relleno. All were good. I enjoyed the Carne Adovada burrito. The green chile is the preferred chile, much better than the average red chile. Looking forward to our next visit.

While the food is excellent and service is great, one thing STANDS OUT! THEIR HOMEMADE SALSA! I travel all over the country and have eaten in some of the best restaurants. The salsa was incredible, I asked for jars of it to take back to Florida, unfortunately they don’t pack it that way. Absolutely the best!

Came here with my sister when she came in for a visit. The food was fantastic and the waiter we had was amazing. Anyone looking to try good New Mexican food will not be disappointed. I loved the salsa they served with the chips (wish I had the recipe).

I went to Los Cuates on Lomas. I haven’t been back here in 20 years because I moved. Coming back to New Mexico after all this time so much has changed. One thing I can tell you that hasn’t changed one bit is the exceptional quality of food and service at Los Cuates. My servers name is Jose, his quality of service in my experience is top tier. He treated me with the upmost respect. He patiently helped me run through the menus and the memories started flooding in of all the good times at Los Cuates as a child. He was very helpful, kind and responsive to what I needed without even having to ask. I walked out paying less than $15 and I’m FULL. Thanknyou to all the staff and management for providing healthy atmosphere. I will be coming back every time I come to New Mexico. Thank you-much love

Sometimes you need some good, basic NM food. This is a good place to get it. I was particularly hungry for steak and enchiladas with red chile. If you like steak and haven’t had the combo, you’re clearly overdue. I paired that with a great, classic house margarita.

Ordered red chile chicken enchilada tray, came to $40. Got home opened it and it had green chile chicken inside? Waste of money, lost out on $40, on the phone I said I want no green chile only red. 1 star since the staff don’t listen, also asked no onions but sure enough there was onions in the chicken. Don’t order take out from here
