I went to this restaurant looking for soup. And I and I ended up getting beef soup combo which was amazing. The lady and the gentleman that helped me were very respectful. Very kind and very nice people. The food was great. The service was great.

I go here for takeout food, as it’s small inside, so might be chilly if you eat-in, in the winter, but It’s one of my favourite places to grab food in all of Orillia.
I always order the veggie rolls and either green curry with chicken or something with peanut sauce.
Don’t be fooled by its location at the back of the plaza. They have good hours and I also hear the pad Thai is great

My family lovesss the food here! Best takeout food around. It doesn’t feel greasy and the flavours are fantastic. We always get General Tao chicken, udon noodles, beef and broccoli, wontons and spring rolls. Highly recommend!

Just had dinner. Super disappointed. There was no seasoning on the food. No onions or vegetables. Forgot the soup. They must be distracted tonight. Paid good money for disappointment. Will be going to Thai Plate moving forward

I’ve enjoyed several meals now at Chef Simon’s Kitchen and they’ve all been excellent. My last visit was on Friday, March 17/2023 and I had the Pad Woon Sen, but with different noodles and added Beef. It was very tasty and satiating! The food quality is very high and the portion sizes are great value for the money, which they are fairly priced, I must add. The folks who own this place are very kind and I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you. 5/5 Stars!

I’ve come here a number of times and have always had delicious meals. Most recently had the Vietnamese sandwich combo lemongrass Porkbelly–it’s spicy. If you haven’t tried it before, just think thick-cut bacon pieces. The combo also comes with a pop. Simon is still the one behind preparing the food. I got a picture of him frying the porkbelly in the skillet. The food has always been great here and I will continue coming back

Ordered some take-out from here. Had red curry chicken and peanut sauce chicken. They were both too spicy for me and not very flavorful. They should also pack soup items in a container that is less likely to spill when ordering out.

Had a lunch with a few friends who visiting me from Toronto at Chef Simon’s Kitchen, everyone was so impressed with the authentic Vietnamese food in our small town, Orillia. Bhai Mi Sandwich Vietnamese spring and noodle soup were so tasty, they said they are better than they had in Toronto. Yah, so happy to hear that!

Located on the Memorial Drive strip with lots of other restaurants try this cute little place for an authentic Viet/Thai fusion experience. The Jasmine Tea was a nice way to Start things off and we shared an order of Thai Spring Rolls and an order of Cold Rolls. The Tofu Pad Thai was delicious and the 2 meat combo is what my friend order with the steamed rice and General Tao Chicken which is what I will order next time in. Good food relaxing atmosphere and good service. The prices were very reasonable for the large portions they serve. Check it out!

This is what happened when there is zero competition for Asian restaurant in Orillia. Besides the rude staff, the pad Thai was burnt with the black burnt food all over the container. And then you can also find random scallops scrap within the chicken pad Thai, which I can only assume they didn’t wash up the pans between takeout. Truly bad bad food. Do not go.
