The food at this restaurant was pretty decent. The chicken had a decent flavor and depending on the item from the menu you got a great portion size. The soups are a huge portion and really good tasting as well. I got the chicken fajitas this is where I said the chicken tastes really good but the portions aren’t that big.
I also got a pineapple strawberry margarita. It was so good and they put fresh fruit in it as well! So yummy and worth the price!
This place serves food with the same energy as a DMV on a Monday morning—cold, lifeless, and soul-crushing. The entrée arrived colder than my ex’s heart, and the dip was the temperature of a sad bath that’s been sitting out since 2003. As for the drinks? Imagine licking a battery soaked in discount sour mix. Yum, right?
The service? Oh, it was slow… not “busy restaurant” slow—more like “they forgot we existed and maybe hoped we’d leave” slow. By the time we got our food, I had seen the stages of grief twice.
If you’re looking for a waste of time, money, and hope, congrats—you’ve found it. If not, do yourself a favor: set your money on fire instead. At least it’ll be warm, unlike the meal. If disappointment were a restaurant, this would be its flagship location!
Every single thing I had was very good. To start, the main meal, the quesadilla, was quite filling. They served it with complimentary rice. The rice was surprisingly flavorful, and had a great soft texture. The quesadilla itself was also quite good, filled with a nice amount of cheese. Simple but tasty.
The platanos Fritos were also excellent. The plantains themselves were sweet and soft. Almost worthy of being a dessert. The cheese they had on top was a bit unnecessary in my opinion, as it was stringy and tasted a bit like plastic. But still, very good overall.
The tres leches was an excellent dessert to end off the night. So creamy, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. They definitely do not hold back on the whipped cream here (which was a tad excessive).
All in all, a very nice Mexican spot. I would definitely come again. Enjoyed everything I had.
