I stopped by the tropical smoothie at 1350 Inverness corners in Birmingham Alabama, and had the best service (to date) from an employee by the name of Suzan.. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and about my diet(im on a Daniel fast) and accommodated me accordingly.. if there were more employees, such as Susan, the world would be such a better place.. thank you Suzan and I will be back to see u, that’s if you’re working, of course.. god bless you and everyone who takes the time to read this.

Honestly I love tropical smoothie but this location is weird. Especially the “management” we ordered our food, paid and sat down I had my vape and phone in my hand and the manager yells across the restaurant “is that a vape?!” I said yeah? He said “you can’t vape in here I said okay I was just holding it he continued to say you can’t vape in here (I literally wasn’t just holding it. When we got our food my boyfriend sandwich still had the cheese wrapper in his sandwich and the “manager” stared at us the entire time we were there. In my opinion they should be less worried about screaming at a customer holding their vape and more worried about their food prep crew preparing food the right way. Needless to say we won’t be back to this area.

I had an amazing experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, making every sip of my smoothie amazing. The Island Punch was out of this world—seriously one of the best smoothies on the menu. The Blimey Limey was also delicious, a perfect balance of tart and sweet. Pesto chicken flat bread was perfect size.
A big shoutout to Chris, who provided outstanding service. He was so polite and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a refreshing and tasty treat!

This location is favorite for my family & I. We tried to stop by once a week to grab our favorite smoothies (Island Green + Peanut Butter Cup) with a wrap (Southwest, usually).
The staff are typically the same, super-nice folks. The drive-thru isn’t always the quickest…but that’s fine. You can’t keep a customized Island Green smoothie in a warming drawer! We love their excellent service & great attitudes!

Smoothies are amazing, food was very lacking in flavor. If I could split up the rating I would give then 5 stars for Avocolada smoothie, 1 star for the Baja Chicken Bowl, and 2 stars for the Chicken Caprese Sandwich. The bowl had mostly iceberg lettuce, a few small pieces of chicken, fake avocados, and about 6 unseasoned black beans. It was very hard to eat. The Chicken Caprese was better but still had minimal flavor. The Avocolada was superb and would get that every day if I could.

I’ve been working in the area near this location and I just signed up for there rewards program so I received a number of different promotions recently so in the last 5 days I’ve had lunch there 4 times and I’ve had an issue every single time! The staff hasn’t been trained properly at all and that’s management’s fault.

When I was attending the college, went here for lunch or dinner all the time. They have the best smoothies around and use real fruit unlike some other places nearby which use flavored syrups and powders. Went here today and it’s just as good as I remember. I like that they make your order fresh. Lots of tables and chairs inside and it’s clean and friendly. I waited about 5 minutes for my smoothie and wrap and both were delicious! For the side item which comes with the wrap, I chose the jalapeno corn, yum! This is the spot to go if you’re looking for a more healthy place to eat, the dining area allows you to sit down and enjoy your meal during your break and to get away from work or school for a bit. The menu has lots of smoothies to choose from, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Highly Recommended!
