I visited the restaurant for the first time on a Monday night, and I was impressed by the stunning views of the city. Since it was a quieter evening, there weren’t many patrons, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The service was decent, though nothing particularly remarkable stood out.

I tried a couple of appetizers: the mussels were fantastic, bursting with flavor, while the cauliflower bits were decent but could have used a bit more crunch—perhaps a harder fry would do the trick. If I return, I’ll definitely ask for that adjustment. Overall, a pleasant experience with potential for improvement!

As a customer of Pier 115, my experience was beyond disappointing. The environment from top to bottom felt disorganized, tense, and unprofessional. You can immediately sense when leadership lacks structure, and unfortunately, that tone trickles down into the overall atmosphere.

What stood out the most was overhearing ongoing internal confusion regarding employee documentation and W2 information. It was unsettling to witness what appeared to be staff members unsure about basic employment matters. Transparency and professionalism should be foundational in any establishment, and the lack of it was noticeable.

There was also visible tension between management and staff, and it created an uncomfortable dining experience. When bias and internal issues spill into the customer space, it reflects deeper systemic problems.

Overall, the environment felt chaotic rather than welcoming. As a paying customer, you expect quality service and a cohesive operation. Instead, the experience felt unstable and poorly managed.

Based on what I observed, I would not recommend Pier 115.

First of all, this place is known for its amazing views of Manhattan, especially around sunset. The food quality here is definitely better than average, and the bartenders really know what they were doing.
Unfortunately, this place used to have an amazing happy hour but they changed the policy. Instead of having several categories of items at half price, they now have a very limited listing of $9 appetizers. They also have discounts on beer and wine.
The other problem I had yesterday was getting service. The pizza came, but I had to try to find someone to bring the usual accoutrement, crushed red pepper, oregano, etc. I also had to go to the bar and get a beer myself because my waitress was not to be found. Keep in mind, the weather wasn’t great so the place was practically empty. I think there were two or three other tables besides the people at the bar, so it’s not like it was busy. I honestly have no idea what our waitress was doing but they didn’t notice my empty beer for 15 minutes so I had to go to the bar and order one myself after also having to chase down the toppings for the pizza.
I know it was a slow night, but in my opinion that’s no excuse for bad service especially when there isn’t a crowd at the restaurant.
I did speak to the manager to express my feelings about the happy hour. I don’t know if that will do any good, but it definitely was one of the best happy hours anywhere and now it is subpar as far as I’m concerned.
If you don’t care about happy hour, don’t be too concerned about the experience that I had with the wait staff. It could have been an anomaly. I find overall the food to be good quality if a bit expensive, so come on a nice day, sit outside and enjoy the views!

Had an early dinner outside on the patio and it was lovely. Excellent thin crust delicious pizza and shared the coconut shrimp. Saw many people order the truffle Mac n cheese and the general tso’s cauliflower. Great collection of beers (though several listed on the menu were out when we ordered) so they should work on restocking or updating their menu but everything else was great. The dining room inside was more of a going out vibe with loud music etc and TVs for watching live games.

A wonderful local place, ideal for both dates and parties. Both inside and outside seating available. When you sit on the patio on the water, you get unbeatable Manhattan views, and the water and the breeze make you feel like you’re on vacation in a tropical destination. Great food and a friendly staff. We go there quite often. Food is fantastic.

I had my 30th birthday here in the Q-dock lounge and River Dock space, with Michele as my event coordinator. I chose a mix of platters and buffet with open bar. Michele helped me set up the huge space, it worked out that they also had beautiful winter/holiday decor up. We had a mix of high tops, tables, and couches, there was plenty of room for everyone. Michele was attentive, kind and patient and I felt she really wanted me to have a great birthday. The food was SO good and the chef’s assorted pastries were delicious. All of my guests had such a wonderful experience and could not stop complimenting the space, the food, and the service. Thanks you Pier 115 for an incredible time, thank you Michele for making my birthday the One in a Jillian party I meant it to be.

This is my 3rd visit. The atmosphere is still awesome and the staff is even bigger and got better. The food still great and won’t take long to be served. Waiting time is usually 20 to 30 minutes, but the bar is always available. The prices are typical of a top area in east new york, but it is worth the price. The pier is beautiful. Loved the valet, bar and the live music. The menu is great. If you are around, you must try it.

The scenery outside is so beautiful and chill. I loved it. I had a Margharita Pizza, it was ok definitely not the best pizza I’ve had. It a bit cold, really crunchy and the cheese was eh but to be fair it’s totally my preference and for others it probably would have been perfect. I did get to try the Steak sandwich I believe it was. It was delicioussssss, should have gotten that. Maybe it was just that day or time but I do want to try another pizza though. I’m definitely coming back because they do have goood food and drinks. I do highly recommend this place though. Definitely coming back.

This establishment is good!!

My fiancé and I dined here for brunch and we ordered the following: General Tso’s Cauliflower wings, Prince Edward Island Mussels, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (brunch item!), Chicken Vodka Parm pizza, and the Linguini di Mare.

The appetizers, the cauliflower wings & mussels, were amazing!! The sauce in the wings was perfectly sweet and spicy, and the cauliflower was crispy and cooked well. Mussels had a delectable sauce and was pretty fresh!

The pancakes were lovely, I wasn’t too crazy about it but the lemon ricotta and berry compote were delish. My linguini di mare was perfect – it had shrimp, clams, and scallops with a delicious broccoli pesto sauce. I really enjoyed it!! Pizza was okay, nothing crazy/special, but was good.

The experience was fine as well. I felt like our servers weren’t as attentive as I would like, but they were sweet nonetheless when they spoke with us.

Lastly, the view is gorgeous! Sadly we weren’t able to sit outside the day we were there, but I bet it is so beautiful during warmer days especially around sunset time!

We went here for some drinks and dinner. I took the bison burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was good and the patty was well cooked. My wife got the pan seared branzino which was nicely seasoned and well cooked. I am not sure about the beet puree but it did add some wonderful color to the plate. My friend got the pan seared salmon. It lacked salt for my taste but came with a light gravy which was pretty tasty. I tried a few local IPAs and my friends got some cocktails which unfortunately I don’t remember but we’re all vodka based.
