Risposta Bistro offers authentic Italian Food with a Mediterranean flavour prepared in the old fashioned way, as has been done in our hometown in Italy since the late 1800s. We are here to please our customers and will prepare such meals as succulent veal chops, veal scaloppini, steak, seafood, grilled eggplant with mushrooms, red peppers and zucchini. Our menu features delicious veal cutlets, Italian homemade sausage, meatballs, chicken, assorted pasta dishes, pizza, panzeratto and calzones. Of course, we also serve fine Italian speciality breads baked in house. At the end of your meal you can enjoy delicious Italian pastries such as Sicilian cannoli, accompanied by a good espresso or cappuccino. Come join us! Food is our Religion!

From the moment I walked in, I felt the positive and welcoming atmosphere and began excitedly anticipating the culinary adventure ahead. The service was wonderful and everyone was attentive and thoughtful. The food was outstanding – first in presentation – the creativity and visual appeal engaged the senses even before the first bite. Once I convinced myself to interfere with the artistic presentation in order to move from the visual feast to the edible one, I was not disappointed. My tastebuds were delighted. Everything I tried was exquisite, from the salad to the risotto and steak to the homemade pasta. Thank you, Risposta, for such an amazing experience! I look forward to coming back!

Loved my experience today at lunch. Overall really good experience. Shared the charcuterie and each enjoyed a salad. Ended with dessert of smashed lemon tart and Italian donuts and a cappuccino. I wished the Caesar salad had more garlic. I will return!

We had the most amazing experience with Frank as our server. The beef tenderloin and ravioli was spectacular, and the creamy garlic and mushroom chicken pasta was our favourite. Great service, will definitely be back. If you live in Oakville, Milton or surrounding areas this is definitely worth checking out and not that far a drive.

This was my first time at Risposta Bistro, and I was absolutely blown away! When I arrived, the staff were hosting a BBQ outside and offering samples with apple cider. Such a welcoming touch before even stepping inside. I was greeted warmly and introduced to Frank, one of the partners, and Pat, the master chef.
Frank was incredibly kind and professional. You can tell he has years of experience in the restaurant world. And Chef Pat was amazing! He used to work as a chef in New York and now brings his talent and creativity here to Ontario. You can truly see and taste his passion in every dish (just look at the photos!).
We ordered the chicken pasta, and it was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, and the staff were simply fantastic. They were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating throughout the evening.
Frank also mentioned that Risposta Bistro has a beautiful banquet hall upstairs, perfect for corporate events, weddings, or special occasions. Another great reason to recommend this gem.
To top it all off, the evening ended with a thoughtful message from the team…“Every season writes its own menu. Tonight you share this chapter with us.” That small gesture perfectly summed up the heart and warmth of this restaurant.

While passing through Campbellville, decided to stop in at Riposta Bistro for some drinks and apps.
Had to try the Margherita Pizza and got the mushroom ravioli and LOVED the parmessean FOAM on the pasta. Never had that before!
Sean, our server was fantastic and was super attentive to our needs. I have eaten at many restaurants and don’t often receive over the top service like this.
Really hope to come here for a date night one night.

Visited the restaurant today to celebrate my father in laws 50th, and we had an amazing experience. My in laws have been here before, but it was our first time and all I have to say is the food was delicious, creative, full of flavour and savoury. The staff was friendly, helpful, and gave my father in law a complimentary birthday desert which was beautifully presented. The menu mixes traditional cooking with fresh ideas, using ingredients grown on site. Every dish looked great and tasted even better, loved the focaccia bread with house made cheese . The unique flavor combos in their signature dishes really stood out. It’s definitely a place worth visiting. Can’t wait to visit in the summer time to try their patio and many other options on the menu.

Happened across this place after visiting the Halton Railway Museum on a beautiful fall day. We were turning around to get to the highway when we noticed the sign said Bistro so we stopped in for dinner. We were warmly greeted with grilled sausage (potato for the vegetarian option) served on an evergreen sprig and warm cider from apples grown on site. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everything on the seasonal menu is farm fresh, grown right on site. One of the sommeliers helped me pick a perfect wine which I enjoyed with house made cheese with toasted honeycomb and warm bread. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his salmon entree while I savoured every bite of my pumpkin truffle pasta. It’s served with lamb but I requested it vegetarian and they were happy to accommodate. Our server Dawn was absolutely delightful. Next time we will have to save room for dessert. Pleasantly surprised by this find – perfect way to top off a wonderful day.

The food was overall pretty good most of us enjoyed our dishes (we came in as a large group). However, my mom’s bolognese had a strange taste to it and my husband got the seafood pasta and it only had one scallop in it, but my dad got the same dish and he had 3 so there were some issues. We waited at least an hour between apps and mains which felt like a good while.
One of our biggest issues was service, it was a Wednesday so it in no way was busy. Our server was pleasant but not very attentive at all. He didn’t tell us that a dish wasn’t available until right when my brother went to order it. Missed drink orders, waters weren’t refilled consistently. My brother tried to ask him a question and he just walked away, it wasn’t rudeness just more so not paying attention. Just little things when it’s dead and servers are standing around you hope for better.
No one was particularly thrilled with the atmosphere either, odd decor, just a mishmash.
