Been going to Smokey Bones for over 30 years ( Colonial drive location), restaurant is always great, specials are great, drinks are great and service is great, now I have to drive 15 miles to get my SB itch scratched, the Alafaya location is great, as expected but above all the service provided by Ariana was superb. Keep up the good work, and please keep this location open

I had the mac & cheese, brisket and it was amazing. Our server Antonio was very sweet. Very attentive filling our glasses. The food came out quickly and I will Definitely come back again. I wish I took a photo before I started, but here’s a picture showing how it ended.

I had an amazing time at Smokey Bones! The service by Anthonio was friendly and fast, and the food was incredible. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the pulled pork was juicy and delicious. The sides, especially the mac and cheese, were perfect. Great atmosphere for a casual meal with friends or family. Highly recommend it if you’re a fan of BBQ!

I love Smokey bones, been going here since I was a wee lad. I have to give a shout out to Antonio our server, he was very respectful and responsive. He kept the dishes/drinks coming(no matter how much we ordered) so come on in and enjoy a good meal with only the smokiest of bones. Also say hi to Antonio for me, he made our night and I’ll know he’ll make yours just as good.

Our server Antonio was amazing! He was attentative but not overbearing. He was very patient with my rambunctious 5 year old. He offered refills and made sure we had our sauces. Every time we come to this restaurant it’s a good experience. I highly recommend!

This place has really gone downhill over the years. My buddy and I stopped coming after getting drinks in glasses with lipstick marks on the drinking glass, a few years back, but I decided to give it another try. Big mistake.
I arrived right at my pickup time, and they told me “3 more minutes”; I ended up waiting over 30 mins. No one asked if I’d been helped, and the girl at the counter didn’t even acknowledge or asked if I am waiting for a table or food pickup. She was just busy printing reciepts.
When I finally got my food, after half an hour wait. Took the food home and the wings were dry and hard; like they have beem cooked few days ago. The sauce wasn’t even mixed in — just thrown on the side. The Memphis dry rub was scattered at the bottom and side of the box. The brisket tasted fine but was crammed into a tiny plastic container.
A few hours later, I had a severe stomach ache and indigestion all night. Not sure if it was the wings or brisket, but I’m definitely not coming back. I hope my stomach aches were not due to their kitchen condition.
This location really needs serious improvement.

I met my uncle here who was in town from Kentucky. Cathryn (Cat) helped us. The happy hour menu was great, so we all got some drinks. I saw that the House Wine was $5.00, so I asked Cat if they had a house Pinot Grigio, and she said yes, as I had the happy hour menu in front of me. I knew my Uncle would try to pay so I got up from the table at some point to find Cat so I could pay the bill. I just paid quickly so my Uncle wouldn’t see, but I didn’t pay attention to what was really charged. Afterward I looked and noticed I was charged $9.49 for each glass of wine instead of $5.00. I brought it to Cats’ attention and she said that Pinot Grigio is not on the happy hour even though I specifically asked if they had a HOUSE Pinot Grigio. The happy hour flyer does not say it has to be a specific House wine. She said it was only Chardonnay and Cabernet. Well, I would have gotten a Chardonnay if I was told the Pinot was not part of the Happy Hour. Normally I would have asked for a manager at that point, but I didn’t want to argue in front of my Uncle. A good waitress would explain that they may have a house Pinot but it is not on the $5.00 happy hour deal. I was very upset with the dismissive attitude, but I think she was also just very timid and shy. I was also very surprised that the suggested gratuity on the receipt is for 20%, 25% or 30%!! That is ridiculous! I did give Cat over 25% tip before I realized the house wine error. Please train the employees to do better with explaining what is and is not a happy hour deal when a guest asks for something off the happy hour menu.

Food can be hit or miss here. I guess it depends on who is in the kitchen. For example, dinner tonight started with a wonderful hard as rock Pretzel Bones appetizer that like marble, chiseled with firm yet steady fork pressure. And the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage was cooked charcoal black. Could I have asked for a new one? Yes. But it was just the blatantly obvious lack of care or concern by the kitchen that made the desire have them cook a replacement laughably irrelevant. Our server did what he could to help us, but the kitchen did him dirty tonight.
