Wowowowowow. The food was soooo good. Get the Butter Chicken. The Lima bean rice was great too.I also had Signature Salad, Indian Masala beef fried, Scallop potatoes, Ryan’s beans, Zambezi wings in Asian BBQ, flavor, Collards Greens, Sweet Potato Casserole, and Naan Bread. You can not go wrong with any of these options. All of this was catered for my friend’s daughter birthday party. 10/10.

I went in looking for breakfast after church on Sunday around noon. No breakfast, so I called my friend that was meeting me and we decided to try lunch instead. My friend had the butter chicken with rice, I had the braised BBQ brisket with sweet potatoe casserole and fried green beans. I was treated also with scalloped potatoes and collard greens. Now I’ll tell you I have never had collard greens that I have liked, even slightly, and that is why I did not order them. Well…after trying everything else I was served and was absolutely amazed by the taste, I decided to try the collard greens. They are also amazing. If someone would have told me that they were collard greens, I’d say they were not! We tried a sampling of each others food. Her butter chicken was wonderful as well. Come, try, you will not be disappointed. Forgive me for taking a picture of my half eaten meal. Yeah, I have another meal of this wonderful food!!

Delicious! Everything on the menu I have enjoyed very much. The deserts are very scrumptious. Tried the chocolate cake desert today It has multiple layers and just perfect! Always very satisfying to order from here. Incredible fresh flavors. Great variety of food. Generous servings. I really favor the jerk chicken. Very tender fall off the bone good!

Some of the best collards I’ve ever had!
I live locally but had not stopped in before, but I am glad that I did. The food was very fresh, had some unique flavor blends that you don’t find in this area, and it was tasty. I even ordered some butter chicken to go. We will for sure be back.

Welcomed promptly at the door, I stepped inside to see a small number of tables. The place was clean, and very nicely decorated. I ate my lunch inside, and my food was delicious. Brisket, Mac and cheese, and the best greens I’ve had. I took a few pictures to show how nice it is!

Been there twice so far. Husband: “hates spicy food. Just ate. No thanks on takeaway for me.” When I get home “lemme try a bite” He ate ALL of it! He ate my dinner! Loved the collards, green beans, Ryan’s beans, sweet potatoes. You can’t get a better endorsement than that from a meat and potatoes man who won’t try anything new. Didn’t look at the meat selections, didn’t realize you sell brisket so I’ll be bringing him back. I was just glad to find a place that does veg and Ruthie mos def does veg well! Food is flavorful, not heavily salted to enhance flavor. Serving sizes are hungry man portions. The place is immaculate. You can eat inside or outside in a quiet shaded setting.

Food, customer service along with the owner were all outstanding. My meal on the buffet was consistent with jerk chicken, barbecue chicken, butter chicken, white vegetables rice ,brown rice collard green and some salad.

“This place made my tastebuds sing! We had the butter chicken and the braised short ribs, and both were delicious. You can tell immediately that the food is made from scratch—the quality is top-tier. Meeting the owner, Ruthie, was the cherry on top. She is so pleasant and genuinely cares about the food she is serving. We will definitely be back!”

All I can say is go hungry!! Super clean small diner atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating as well.
The combination of authentic foods Ruthie made is amazing and tasty! We had the Braised Short Ribs and Butter Chicken with Noan bread along with a side of her special green beans. It was easy to tell after the first bite everything was cooked from scratch including her delicious strawberry lemonade! If you get the butter chicken you have to dip the noan bread in the sauce, as Ruthie recommended and she was so right!
Ruthie was friendly, and so gracious to explain ingredients, some new to us but the combination was good and so worth trying!
We really enjoyed our dinner and felt more like we went to Ruthie’s house than to her Kitchen!
