I stopped into The Wicked Loon recently and had an awesome experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was great, fun, welcoming, and full of energy but what really made the night was Caysie. She went above and beyond the entire time.
Not only was she super friendly and attentive, but she also made some of the best drink recommendations I’ve had in a while. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and cares about her customers having a great time.
If you visit The Wicked Loon, ask for Caysie, she’ll absolutely take care of you. Can’t wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I stopped in to get some dinner last week and were really impressed. The menu is seafood oriented, and the wines we tried were excellent. Our waiter (also the bartender) was absolutely sensational and even gave us a small taste of a beautiful aged 20 year old wine.
We loved the steak, burgers, fries and the key lime pie. Overall, my experience was so excellent that I am sure I will be coming back to the Wicked Loon again very soon. Thank you so much!

The Wicked Loon is easily one of the best spots in Wolfeboro. The food is delicious, the cocktails are amazing, and the atmosphere is always fun and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond every time, and it’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or enjoy a night out by the water.

Wow! Had an AMAZING lunch here in Wolfeboro earlier this week with my boyfriend and we could not have been happier with our choice. First of all Abby showed us to our seat and was so sweet and personable. She even explained the separation of restaurants to us (I haven’t been in the building since it was Jo Green’s Upper Deck) and it was so informative and helpful. Plus, the view! When we realized The Wicked Loon centered more on seafood I was a little bummed because I don’t eat it, but there were a lot of choices for me regardless that I was happy to choose from. Our food was DELICIOUS — he got a crab cake sandwich and I got a Cobb salad (10/10 would order again it was so good). Patatas Bravas were out of this world. We were in heaven! We are SO grateful we had Lexi as our server — she was incredibly polite, caring, and attentive to make sure to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. She honestly was so perfect and her happy attitude made our day! We will FOR SURE be back!

Caysie was an excellent Bartender, nothing better than a warm cider on a cool fall day. I actually wrote this haiku from how good it was.
Steam curls through the air,
rum warms cider, hearts, and laughs—
Wicked Loon hums low.
Definitely worth the stop

The Wicked Loon is a very popular, lively restaurant in beautiful downtown Wolfeboro with one of the best views in town. It sits perched over magnificent Lake Winnipesaukee at the heart of the town. The food and drinks are fresh, creative and delicious and the service is excellent. Alex is very efficient and attentive, making the entire experience a pleasure. We are looking forward our return! Nice spot by the water. Comfy and cozy booths. We got the dragon shrimp appetizer, and it was delicious. My friend got the salmon, and I got the scallops, and both dishes were undercooked. Plus, the veggies served with both dishes weren’t great. Tasted of vinegar. Also, drinks were disappointing. The spicy margarita was basic and lacked flavor, and the sangria had an odd flavor. We went in the off-season, so we’re planning to come back in the summer.
