Tacos El Pastor is where you want to be when you truly want that authentic Mexican food.
Tucked into the vibrant heartbeat of the Las Vegas Strip, it’s a local gem serving authentic Mexican street food to locals and tourists.
The restaurant is clean and decent size, they have a nice big outdoor patio facing the Strip.

The overall experience is straight forward, you come in and choose a line to stand in with the flavour taco you want and when you get your food then you pay at the cashier station.

These tacos were amazing and flavourful. Tortillas are fresh made and very delicious.
Tacos are very filling too .

Every bite bursts with heart, history, and flavor.

Definitely worth the visit. We highly recommend it!

First… If you are English speaking, you will not be prioritized as they prioritize Spanish speaking customers first. I saw this multiple times. Someone who speaks Spanish can be in the wrong line and they will stop everything to cater to them. Even if they are in the middle of preparing your order, the Spanish speaking customers will trump you and get their stuff done before you.
You have to be in line for what you want. So if you want pork and asada, you must go in the line for each one separate (ig English speaking). If you are Spanish speaking, the rules dont Apply to you
At the cash Register, they will upcharge you for using a credit card. When I asked where the sign was that there is an upcharge (“convenience fee” on the receipt) there was a lapse in English speaking by the girl tending the cash register and I got no answer until I saw my bill go up over $1.
It was raining. Outside earlier in the day so the outside seats were wet and no one there did anything to try to dry them off. The place was packed inside and nowhere to sit other than outside.
There is cross contaminated food here too. So if you want pork, it appears to me it is cooked and prepared in the same places the tripe guts and organs are cooked and chopped on. So if you don’t want to eat cow guts, don’t eat pork here.
On the plus side, the tortillas are hand made so that was good.
Parking is free but you might need “a can opener” to get (practically peel”) your car out because it is very tight and limited spacing
Overall…this is the third taco stand I’ve been to in Vegas. I would most likely return to the other two before returning here as I didn’t have the obvious Spanish speaking privilege here.

We went before noon and I’m glad we did because after we got our food, there was already a long line out the door! Service was quick, food was delicious. Portion size was great as well. The only issue was that when I went the weather outside was 110 (August) and I was sweating inside. They had no AC and it was humid and hot inside! I was sticking to the seats.

We parked in the lot and felt obliged to go in or risk getting towed. Great spot. However the lines were long. Food was yummy but a tad pricier than tacos el gordo.

We went around 9pm and this place was pretty empty. My boyfriend ordered the birria tacos. Portions were big but the meat didn’t taste great. My boyfriend had an upset stomach after one bite and he warned me not to eat the other tacos. Meat may have been bad. We spent $22 for 3 tacos and a coca cola bottle, which is made in Mexico and has sugar instead of the syrup stuff.

ordered a veggie quesadilla, but she charged me for one with meat. She also mentioned there would be a discount if I paid with cash, but I didn’t receive any discount.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican comfort food, this taco spot is a must-visit. They offer a large variety of Mexican meats, and types of tacos,… something for everyone. Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Hands down, some of the best tacos in town.

The restaurant is clean and well organized, and you can see into the kitchen where everything is being prepared, which adds to the experience and shows the care they put into their food. There’s also plenty of parking, which makes it convenient.

It’s located about 10 minutes off the Strip, but absolutely worth the short drive. If you’re craving real Mexican flavors, this place delivers.

Best god damn tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was so tender and perfectly ready for me to devour lol. I also had the asada fries which were amazing. I’m visiting Vegas from Canada and I wish we had a place like this out there.

I always hit up this taco shop for food while visiting Las Vegas. The tacos are always stacked with meat and all the toppings. The establishment is clean and they are not stingy with lemons. Make sure to wash it all down with a Mexican Coke!

The service is a 10. Nice people. The quesadillas are really spicy, so… watch out !! However spicy, they are so tasty that you will want some more.
