Wife got the steak fajitas, she talked with the chef, she thought the steak was bad, I tasted it, we asked the chef to taste it. He said it was fine but she just didn’t care for it, they happily and insisted she could order anything else. She got the enchiladas, 1 chicken, beef and cheese. All were AWESOME! Would recommend this and would most certainly return. Great food!!!!
Service was fair, bless her heart, it wasn’t what job was, normally the cleaner… she stepped up and became our server, kind, friendly but being a server definitely was not her job. But very attentive when she could. Just not used to serving so things were a bit slow. But they were professional, kind and polite.
The setting was clean, nice music, in the background, chairs and booth seating were comfortable and clean, bathroom was well kept and clean as well, nice full bar with seating… Nice place to stop in.
The pros – the waitstaff was friendly and the overall ambiance was great. They also give you chips and salsa when they seat you.
The cons – we ordered 6 items and three were wrong, the margaritas were watery, the prices on the bill were all higher than what was listed in the happy hour menu.
The neutral- the food was okay, chicken was moist, but not much seasoning, everything was very mild.
I show up at the pickup time and they say they don’t have any orders on their system.
I show them the receipt for the order, they say they don’t have the order.
I request a refund and they refuse, saying they can get the order going starting then.
I had already waited 35-45 minutes and wanted a refund. They refused.
I called bank to dispute the charges.
Inside was under construction and atmosphere overall was sloppily thrown together.
Do not recommend.
* 9/10. Staff is really friendly, even though she only speaks Spanish and I need to work harder on Duolingo to understand what she says but she was so kind!
* 8/10. Look at the cute decorations and it’s giving very authentic Spanish and everything is very clean!
Our waitress to the point that we had to ask 4 separate times just to get some mojitos. I kid you not she came back to our table and would ask if we wanted a drink and we would politely laugh and say “yes, those mojitos please!” We waited 45 minutes after eating to get our check even though we flagged her down after waiting 20 minutes. Our bus/water server was a very kind person and quite apologetic despite not speaking English. The food was over salted and underseasoned. Some of the other patrons joked that we might be there overnight. Truly an astoundingly bad experience. I generally lean towards being patient but this tested us all and we genuinely contemplated just leaving because we had to go to bed at some point and felt trapped. Also this place suffers from lettuce syndrome because the food is not very appetizing in terms of appearance and so they drown it in lettuce.
