Beyond amazing. It was my first time and the food reminded me of being back home to El Paso Texas . The molcajete was top tier and worth the price especially for a date night. It had steak, grilled chicken, red chile pork ,cheese , green onions and a good salsa in the center it also came with flour and corn tortillas also came with a side of rice and beans. With our drinks it came out to 54.00. I’m definitely returning back. The staff is great too.

As a couple, we stopped in here for drinks before dinner elsewhere on a weeknight… They were moderately busy and even had a mariachi band, which sounded really good. Their menu of margaritas is quite legit, they even have three sizes. We chose the regular, lime margarita in their Gigante size, which is about 36 ounces and it’s HUGE!! They even have a larger size than this!

The drinks were pretty good and nicely strong too! Service was friendly. The venue is beautiful. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Definitely would return!!

Bartender reco’d the Tacos el carbon or whatever and it was FIRE. Live music was relaxing, the Mexican Food was Authentic (I’m from San Diego) and the drink were very very very good. This place is right on 16th street where everything is at. Superb and definitely 5 stars.

I ordered enchiladas divorciadas with a Mexican Coca-Cola. The enchiladas were $24 and the total came to $30.
The presentation was very good, and the portion size was perfect for one person — I left feeling full. The flavor was good overall, slightly salty for my taste. It’s not the most authentic Mexican food, but still enjoyable.
Service was excellent, and the ambience made the experience even better, with great music and very kind staff.
I would come back to try other items on the menu.

Fabulous spot for Colorado-Mex! We saw their mariachi band in the stock show parade right as the snow was picking up and decided to stop inside to warm up. Great drinks (the gigantic margaritas are fun, but the regular house margarita is only $7 during lunch hours which is a better deal), and great Colorado-Mex food. Free chips and salsa are always a plus in this economy. I got the poco loco burrito which was excellent – I’m not a normally a fan of the Colorado style green chili, but the one on the burrito was pretty good. We will definitely be back!

Here from TX. Needed my chips n salsa fix so we gave this a try. My wife thought the peach marg was delicious. The salsa was interesting. Sweet but hot. The chicken fajitas were also super good. Nothing special BUT def worth it if you’re looking for great Tex mex style Mexican food downtown Denver!

The staff is professional, attentive, and ensures a smooth dining experience from start to finish. Every dish is packed with authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The tacos and enchiladas are especially standout, bursting with bold, satisfying taste. It’s the perfect spot for both casual dinners and special nights out.

3 Margaritas is a must-visit Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Denver! The lively atmosphere is unforgettable—especially with the mariachi band filling the space with energy, music, and fun. It’s the kind of place that turns dinner into an experience.

I ordered the Molcajete, and it was absolutely phenomenal—tender grilled skirt steak, pork, and chicken layered over a flavorful tomatillo salsa, melted Jack cheese, fresh pico de gallo, grilled green onions, avocado, and served with all the fixings: lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Every bite was packed with bold, authentic flavor.

If you’re looking for a vibrant, delicious, and memorable meal in Denver, 3 Margaritas is the perfect spot. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike!

Overall a good place to eat! The watermelon margaritas are fantastic! I got the chicken quesadilla and it was fine, although the price on the bill was higher than the price on the menu, but I didn’t realized it until after we left. Kind of pricy for what you get but good overall was good.
