Reviews
The food is pretty much on point maintaining the same copper chimney standards back in India.
We had the kadak roomali and chicken Reshmi Kebab as starters which was good as usual , can’t go wrong.
For drinks we had the thandai which is my personal favorite and the amm sour which is an essential twist to the traditional aam panna but honestly I would request the restaurant to bring back the og aam panna during summer it can’t go wrong.
For mains we ordered the bhuna chicken which was beautiful and had a nice smokey umami taste which was amazing , the dal makhni was good but I think we over ordered , I can tell you the portion size is very good.
Bikash was extremely polite and helped us decide our meals. Thank you Bikash!
Request for the restaurant management:
You will see the key signature dishes like kadak roomali Roti, Reshmi Kebab, butter Chicken etc.
But a few definitely missed dishes would be the classic masala version of the kadak roomali with chopped onions and tomato I did miss that.
Sadly there was no Malai paneer based tandoori starter which is something Copper Chimney is madly known for as well.
I deeply missed the Galouti kebab as well, the kabab with roomali Roti is classic combo that was missed as well.
I ordered lamb Rogan Josh and lamb Shank Nihari.
Dishes tried:
Lamb Kebab – Great texture, very aromatic flavour with a medium-high spice level, pairs well with the fresh green chutney (although, a mint yoghurt one on the side would’ve been great also), definitely my favourite.
Butter Chicken – Overall a strong flavour profile and great taste, although the meat pieces aren’t your typical tikka cubes and more like thin strips. I asked to raise the spice level as the server confirmed that the standard version can be mild for some.
Buttered Naan – Light and flavourful, although a little on the smaller side.
Roomali Roti – Very light and great taste.
Really love that they serve you warm plates and the cutlery includes a spoon!
Overall, the food quality is fantastic, service is very welcoming and ambiance is warm and inviting.
Definitely worth a try!
We ordered the taster menu for two and were genuinely delighted with every dish. The unexpected highlight for us was the cauliflower, we were honestly surprised at how flavourful and satisfying it was. Who knew cauliflower could taste that good?
The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with plenty of space between tables, making it easy to have a conversation without raising your voice. Its just a good relaxing vibe in a busy shopping centre.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality Indian cuisine in a calm, well-run setting.
