Tried Common Table on Friday. I asked the waitress lots of questions and she answered all of them without becoming impatient despite having several other tables to take care of. Ordered one of her recommendations Patty Melt while my Coworker ordered the Smash burger both of us got the sweet potato fries. It was good. Our drinks stayed full and as we are heavy drinkers the waitress brought us a bottle for self service refills. I plan to come back and try some of the other menu items. Menu isn’t overwhelming but offers lots of options, so one could have many meals here without a repeat. Breakfast served all day, salads that look interesting, sandwiches and burgers. Nice atmosphere and definitely equipped for families, however those without families will still feel at home.

Was surprised to find a buffet stocked with delicious entrees for breakfast and lunch. They have everything you could want for breakfast as well as a salad bar, a pasta dish, and chicken cordon bleu. The food was delicious, service great and friendly, and my daughter

The common table would be our go to place to eat if we lived closer! Everything from the service, food portions and taste, cleanliness to the pricing is spot on. We came in with minutes to spare because I read the opening/closing hours incorrectly and they were still ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I’m still talking about our experience a month later! This place is a must if you are visiting Chattanooga!

Food is pretty decent here, the service was really good. This is a cool place to take kids because as an indoor playground, well they do until somebody gets hurt and they sue the place. The kitchen area is also pretty cool because there’s nothing but play glass separating the tables from the kitchen so you can see everything going on. This is clearly a part of the church in some form of fashion with the churches daycare next door also so there is a Church vibe, which is cool enough.

Had avocado toast and a berry smoothie to go! Was so delicious! My friend got biscuits and they were super generous with the gravy I noticed. One of the best options for breakfast on a Sunday morning in the St. Elmo area since Goodman’s was closed. Generous portions. Would definitely recommend and I’m suprised it’s not more talked up among my friends. Best kept restaurant secret in the area.

Went here on a whim, and oh yes am I glad we did! My son and I had time to kill in the area and decided to have lunch here. We had the whipped feta which is the BEST appetizer I have ever eaten at a restaurant. That is high praise! It has it all!! It is tangy, it has a hint of sweet, salty. It is served with warm fresh pita. I would travel several hours just to come back for this! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was really good however, the soup was lukewarm which made it not worth paying for in my opinion, but the grilled cheese made up for it. It had sweet jam, apple slices and warm delicious cheese and perfectly toasted bread. Well done! My son had some sort of pasta dish that he really enjoyed. If you’re in the area I highly recommend. The kitchen is surrounded in glass so that you can see your food being prepared. The atmosphere is very cool vibes with friendly service. They bring you cute pitchers filled with ice water so that you’ll not be thirsty waiting on a server. I will say that the dessert we ordered was a fail. But that’s ok, there was a lot more good than that one miss.

First time going and was excited after reading the reviews about the good food and kid-friendly playground. Went on a Saturday night when the only food available was a Chinese Buffet for $20/person. Food was pretty gross, tasted like a bunch of prepackaged frozen food. We all felt a bit sick afterwards. The only redeeming quality of the place is the awesome indoor and outdoor play space. My toddler had a ton of fun. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be going back…

My family and I came here during the breakfast buffet. There were so many food violations from the start. What was supposed to be cold was not being kept cold and the “hot” stuff was not being kept hot.
Food was room temperature and not good at all. It didn’t even look appealing either. It cost $100 for 4 kids and 2 adults lol. Definitely not worth it. The place looks nice, but very deceiving.

Very weird experience. We walked in at lunch time and were maybe 1 of 2 tables there. Multiple dirty tables. Very quite restaurant no music. We we ordered a club sandwich, 1 kids chicken and 1 ceasar salad. It took over 45 mins to get the sandwich and kids meal. I had to feed my kids snacks out of my purse because they were waiting too long. . Again just 2 tables in the restaurant at the time. They never brought the salad the we finished the sandwich and then they were going to bring out the salad but at that point we had been there over an hour and our kids were ready to leave. I felt very bad for the server. Our kids had a blast playing on the playground. in the hour we were there we never had refills. There were 3 or 4 waiters and they were running around.. not really sure what they were doing. Again maybe 2 or 3 tables still. Missing food at the other table too. It was an extremely weird experience. When we left there were still the same dirty tables around the restaurant.
