I took my girlfriend to this location, who hadn’t been to a Denny’s in over 10 years, citing bad experiences. This place had it all, and the food was DELICIOUS. Needless to say, this Denny’s got my girlfriend to admit she was wrong.

I understand they’re a cheaper option for breakfast; however, that doesn’t mean the service and quality of food have to be so low. The waitress older lady, was lacking so real customer service and was most certainly rude. She literally slapped and tossed the items on the table like she was serving a dog or someone distasteful. She never offered me or brought me napkins. I had to get up and grab them by the kitchen mid section. She might be tired or overworked, but I deserved better service. She only asked once while she was with other’s customers if I was okay. The food lacked items and was over cooked with excess oil. Definitely didn’t look like the menu photo. I should have known better and I wouldn’t recommend this location at all. Waffle House treats you better and if you really want excellent service go with the safe choice and visit First Watch.

The service at this location was top notch. The waitress was so busy taking care of many tables but always had time to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was good, a little salty and slow to prepare but mostly it was good. The coffee at the spot and helped us to wake up 🙂

This was a fantastic experience at this Dennys on Fowler Ave. the food was so hot and fresh and came so quickly.
Annie was our server and all I can say is how amazing she is! She was incredible attentive and observant. I never had to ask for a refill one time. She was so kind and sweet! Truly one of the best servers we have ever had in a restaurant. She is a true gem and an asset to this branch!

Annie was such a sweetheart! She had patience, got my large order right, the food was hot and fresh. Angela was a peach as well because of their amazing customer service I will definitely visit again. I visited another location on Hillsborough about 10 minutes away and I was waiting to be seated for over 20 minutes they didn’t even acknowledge me or say give me a minute that’s why I ended up at this location I’m glad I came here. Excellent experience

I’m an Uber driver, and I was treated like a second-class citizen when I came in to pick up an order.

A week ago I went there for a order, the two older women working the front looked right at me and then went back to what they were doing. I know restaurants are busy, so I waited patiently. However, after about 10 minutes of watching them ignore me, serve other people, and stop to giggle and chat with their friends on staff for minutes at a time, I finally asked about the order. (The dark-haired older woman was quiet, but the blond older woman was the one I had the problem with.)

There were already two full containers of food sitting on the counter unbagged for at least 15 minutes at this point.
The light-haired older woman had the nerve to get mad at me for asking. She actually said: “I don’t have any order and you need to learn how to wait.”

Absolutely ridiculous. The service was disrespectful, unprofessional, and incredibly slow. The staff running the front need a serious lesson in customer service. Do better.
