Wonderful food cans service. Delicious food. Fish and chips served with small salad and samphire. I am gluten free and I was able to choose almost anything apart from the scampi or butchers sausage. I had battered cod and chips with GF vinegar. I had panko sesame prawns which were lovely and absolutely gorgeous salt and pepper squid which came with a delicious Asian sauce and sliced chillies. We were a group of 7 including children and Steve was extremely welcoming and brought in tables for us to eat inside downstairs. So we our takeaway out of boxes but inside. The gravy, curry sauce, and mushy peas (also all GF) were all very tasty too. It was a delightful meal and next time I am in Margate I will definitely be returning!

Great little lunch spot for fish and chips! 2 tables inside so you can dine in if they’re free. So nice to have a little side salad and some samphire with my cod and chips. The battered sausage also delicious! Great vegan options too.

Stopped in to try the roast dinner Yorkshire wrap and it did not disappoint. I went for the beef, which was tender and full of flavour, while my partner asked about a veggie option — they happily accommodated with a vegan sausage alternative. The mini roast potatoes were absolutely banging and incredibly moreish. Highly recommend!

Loved the fact they have a vegan option (banana blossom) and also they cater gluten free so definitely hands up!
The batter was heavy tho and I felt heavy the whole day after this meal.
It was my first time eating banana blossom and it looked like kitchen and the taste reminded me artichokes, very interesting!
It’s a busy place and they do lovely take away boxes for you to enjoy your meal at the beach if you like (as they have only 4 tables).

The portion sizes are plentiful, very good value for money. The food wasn’t greasy, we love the self order option as gave us a chance to look through options and prices without feeling pressured. I do feel like the staff could have been a little more friendly, not ever a hello. Katsu chicken was really dry which was a shame and the sauce lacked some flavour, would have been nice to have the chip shop chips this comes with skin on fry, my husband had the fish he said it was really fresh tasty non greasy and would 100 percent buy again. Unfortunately I did find a hair or eye lash in my food didn’t eat the rest… We would come back again, but noted that no hair nets where worn in the food prep area. The inside of the shop is lovely. Glad we are locals so we can bring our friends to try the fish and chips.

I usually love coming into to get fish and chips from here, as they have a gluten free menu but I have to say the last couple of times the chips have been chewy and overdone! For £4.50, I could barely eat any, so disappointed

I came to Margate for the day and thought I’d get some fish and chips. The chips were cold, the fish was bland with no flavour. Not what I was expecting from being by the sea.
Everyone says the best fish and chips are by the coast, I get better in London!

My nephew and I had a great time while eating the fish and chips we ordered. We loved the fish and chips. We were assisted by a very friendly Beata that just started at this store. She even took a picture of us. This made our day. If you like fish and chips, this is the place to be in Margate. We will come back again. Beata thanks for your kindness and lovely smile.
