A true Cuban gem in Brickell
This Cuban-style restaurant is a must-visit. The food is full of authentic flavor, rich, comforting, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tastes like tradition with a modern touch, and the portions are generous.
The atmosphere is vibrant and full of Cuban soul, perfect for enjoying great food, music, and good company. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
If you’re looking for real Cuban flavors in the heart of Miami, this place is definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be back!

I recently had the chance to visit Caña Restaurant & Lounge at the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami on two different occasions, and both were wonderful experiences. I went for brunch with a friend and absolutely loved the vibrant atmosphere, delicious Latin-inspired dishes, and the creative cocktails. Another time, I came back for dinner with my whole family, and we were just as impressed—the food was flavorful, the service was attentive, and the setting felt both elegant and welcoming. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend for any occasion.

Caña Restaurant and Lounge at Hyatt Centric Miami is a great spot if you’re in the city and unsure where to go. The food is excellent, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the bar seating offers a relaxed vibe with an awesome atmosphere. And since it’s right inside the hotel, the convenience makes it an easy choice when you’re staying there. Definitely worth a visit!

My friends and I were there for brunch last Sunday and we loved it! The food was delicious and the drinks strong! We did the bottomless mimosas and our waitress was very attentive – even when a guest was talking her ear off at the bar she made sure to check in with our table often. It was pretty empty when we got there so the attention was very nice lol. The food was great! Cuban food is over saturated in Miami but it was nice to taste fresh well done food. Even just the roasted potatoes tasted fresh and the manager confirmed they use fresh not frozen. The manager Ms. Eli was so kind too! She explained the dishes to us and made great recommendations. I will definitely be back! And no we were not staying at the hotel we just popped in for some food and left satisfied.

I love this place! I went with my boyfriend and got the vegan picadillo. Our drinks were some of the best cocktails we had in our lives and the food was amazing. The thing that stood out the most was our INCREDIBLE server Daniel. He is the best server I have ever had. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and was so polite. The other servers were very kind too. I would come back for the service alone, but the food and drinks will also convince me!

Great food, insane prices. We went in for the $40 dinner special and expected a bill around $100-$120 for two people. The food was decent, the best we have had in the area, but it straight up was not worth the price at all. We ended up getting charged for water ($10 per liter, one liter per person) without this fee being disclosed prior. Water isnt scarce here. We are surrounded by water. Bottled Evian is apparently the default. Water is free pretty much everywhere else. There was also a $20 service charge based on the total bill. We had to ask what this service charge went towards because it wasnt disclosed. Forced gratuity is common in Miami, but most places will call it a gratuity instead of a ‘service fee’. That is vague and misleading. If you want to feel financially exploited and bankrupt by some pulled beef, this is the place for you.

A ‘$40 per person’ dinner ended up being nearly $200. It was nowhere near worth the cost. The cost of a single dinner was literally an entire week of groceries if not more. The server was nice, but this place rubbed us entirely the wrong way and we won’t be back. Overall, it’s decent food if you’ve got endless cash to blow… but if you chose this venue for the deceptively low pricing they advertise, stay far away. It’s a bait and switch.

Sorry No pictures..
Atmosphere. There isn’t any. Its on the 2nd floor of a hotel, and it feels like a hotel bar.
Service was great. They checked on us frequently, refilled our water and fixed the temp of our meal when it came incorrectly.
Food. The pork shank, recommended by our server, was right on the money. The steak, was tasty but expensive for what it was. A thin piece of ribeye. The mushroom sauce that accompanied the steak was very good (requested to be placed on the side – if only it didn’t have a layor of oil). Overall, it was a good meal better than okay but not worth the 4 stars. We won’t be rushing to go there again anytime soon. On a side note, outdoor seating is a balcony area.

Fantastic dinner! Had
1) Mofongo (yucca + really tender octopus; highly recommend)
2) plantain tostadas w/ pork (good flavors but I think it could be improved w/ more sauce since it was a bit on the drier side)
3) custom side of kale (with evoo I think, for those of us who want a side of healthy greens ^__^)
4) flan (BEST I ever had in my life!!!)
5) tre leches (not bad, but felt it was dominated by the ratio of whip cream taste wise, despite being visually appealing)
6) passionfruit capirinha (bartender was absolutely lovely & nailed it! Even kindly adjusted/upped the sweetness as I like it)
To be honest, I was having a bit of a rough evening/day – but food here definitely warmed my soul and the staff + bartender are super kind in sharing their recs. Would highly recommend Caña for a low-key but soul-warming Cuban food!

I ate breakfast here daily when staying at the hotel and it was good. I tried all the protein options (chorizo, bacon, and sausage) as a part of my American eggs, and the chorizo was definitely the best by far.

I also tried the avocado toast, which had a nice mild flavor. The smoothies were good as well, between the tropical greens and berry banana, I think I slightly prefer the berry banana, but they’re quite different flavors that I both enjoy and would have on different occasions.

The service was pretty slow on the first day where I went close to the end of breakfast hours, but was quick on the other days where I went a bit earlier.
