Dropped in without reservations and although it was pumping they were able to find us a table in around 10 minutes. The different rooms were all very impressive, we ended up in the dining room on the top floor and were impressed by the ambience. Service was excellent and the food was of a high quality. It really felt like a traditional osteria and is one of Veronas food gems.

I entered this place after coming down from the castle following the recommendation from a local friend. Even without reservation, I was warmly welcomed by the waiters and they managed to set me at a small table near the entrance. I ordered the amarone risotto and pork belly, both were very delicious. The pork belly was carefully cooked with crispy skin and soft tender meat inside. The mustard and pickles well balanced out the grease. The amarone risotto is a special dish in Verona and I personally find it very flavourful. However some people may not like the acidity that comes with the wine sauce. The waiters and waitresses are very nice, careful and professional. I had a really nice experience and would recommend everyone to try out this place!

Ordered the winner risotto in Verona. Was expecting a wonder meal. But sadly, the presentation is so bad, look like 2 plates of vomitus. And the taste is awful too. Only consist of rice with cheeses but without any meat or seafood. I think the chef need to improve on this plate as the expectations vs presentation + taste is just too huge.

We stopped in unexpectedly between Duomo and a pizzeria closer to the Arena Verona.
We walked in after seeing the walls lined with wine and were met by Giuseppe, we were seated and treated with so much kindness and respect. We asked him to surprise us with various wines throughout the night where he gave us multiple wines of all flavours, types and areas! He also gave us multiple breads and toppings to match the wines was such a great experience! We had a limited time in Verona and Giuseppe made it one to remember. Incredible! Love from your Australian friends ❤️

A truly special place in Verona. The atmosphere was calm and full of warmth, but what touched me most was the lovely lady who offered me a small “crostino porta vita.” She was so kind and genuine her gesture felt like a quiet blessing, something simple yet unforgettable. Moments like this are what make travel meaningful. Thank you for such heartfelt hospitality.
Grazie di cuore ❤️

They snuck us in for dinner close to their closing time, which was nice. They let us try some yummy toasts with spreads to begin. Then we all got pasta (squid ink tortellini was incredible!) with such a nice white wine from Verona. Then we finished with a very nice tiramisu and sorbet. The waiters were also very friendly and accommodating

If you dislike good food and warm kind service then don’t come here. I found out about this place from a recommendation of their risotto Al Amarone. I made a reservation for dinner when I first arrived in Verona. I was able to try the risotto here as a single diner. It was incredible. The wine was excellent as was the service. I returned a couple of days later and was greeted with the same warm reception as the first time. They even remembered my name. One female staff member really made this experience a highlight of my visit to Italy. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Verona. Come for dinner and for aperativo. You will not be disappointed.
