Vibe is very good here. I love the workers making rhymes when they same the numbers. Makes it very funny. The food was alright and the fries were very salty. The fries quality was very large, I ended up eating my friend’s fries as well to avoid waste. Good place to eat and very fast.

The one thing I enjoy most about Portillo”s is the consistency doesn’t matter where I am, there food is always what I expect and this location was no different. My only real complaint is with the customer service, which is non-existent in this location. Short of yelling out that my order was ready not a single employee in that place ever said a word to me and there were more employees onsite than customers.

Portillo’s hit the spot for my hungry family today. I went all in with their cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint—juicy, flavorful, and topped with perfectly melted cheese on a soft, toasted bun. The fries were crispy and golden, and my kids and I couldn’t stop dipping them in that rich, creamy cheese sauce. I also grabbed a malted vanilla shake, and wow—super thick, smooth, and had that nostalgic malt flavor that took me right back. It was one of those meals that felt indulgent in all the best ways.

My wife ordered the Italian beef without the bun, and while she didn’t say much about it, she seemed to enjoy it. My mother-in-law went all in with the full sandwich—and it looked incredible. I didn’t try it myself, but it definitely disappeared fast. Between the big portions, bold flavors, and classic Chicago vibes, Portillo’s delivered a solid experience all around.

Just a good place for good food. Kudos to whoever manages this place. Clean kitchen area, dining area, and restrooms. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I don’t know if its good hiring or good training, but somebody there is doing right.

I had a question about adding my receipt to the rewards app because I realized too late that I could be using the app as a “punch card” for rewards. You can enter a 12-13 digit number from the bottom of the receipt to your rewards. Within 24 hours and you still get credit for your purchase. I used the self service order kiosk and the receipt did not have that number. I went up to ask for help and whoever it was that helped me (looked like a manager, maybe a shift lead, IDK I didn’t ask) couldn’t find it either. He took my phone number connected to the rewards and told me he would get them added. IDK if hw did at this point or even if he will. What I do know is that at that moment he was very kind and empathetic to my minor problem.

All in all, this is a chain restaurant. The food probably tastes the same as every other chain, but going to this location, hopefully, what you will remember like me is the great atmosphere and customer service that sets this location apart from rest.

Everything we tried was fantastic! Prices seem more than fair and we’ll definitely be returning to try more menu items.

Love the concept of this place but I don’t like the price. 3 people eating over $50 for hotdogs…. fries are nothing special. Meat is decent. Not sure if I would go back. This place is nothing to write home about.

1st time ever trying and was somewhat disappointed. We got the beef and cheddar croissant meal and a large Italian beef with sweet and hot peppers on the side fries and onion rings. 1st problem there was no cheddar on the beef and cheddar, there was literally no flavor the meat tasted boiled and both sandwiches were dry and not even slightly wet at all. There was no salt on either the onion rings or fries and they were oily and extra crispy. The highlight of the meal though was the shakes and malt!! Would not recommended this place as I was disappointed to spend 45$ to only enjoy the shake and malt

Clean restaurant, super friendly staff and great tasting chicago style hot dogs . We ate at Portillo’s in Chicago a month ago and were happy to learn there were a couple businesses in the MN metro. The size of the dog seemed small but it had the same great taste as the ones in Chicago. The drive up is a plus too.

As an industry vet, I am very impressed with this restaurant.

They are very thorough with their order callbacks, end Im never worried about all of our customizations being righteous, nor have I experienced anything other than 100% order accuracy yet.

They run more of an open kitchen concept and it appears to be a very clean and professional environment with good sanitary practices. You’d be appalled what you might find behind the scenes some places…

We enjoy the food every time and is a constant favorite for the kiddo.

Great execution of the fast casual concept

One of my coworkers loves hot dogs, so it just made sense to stop by and visit a Portillo’s while we were in town. We were immediately greeted by one of the employees who, after finding out this was our first visit, was very thorough in walking us through the lay of the land. After we had collected our order and had time to try things, she came outside to us to ask us how we were enjoying our experience. I wish I had her name because she was a prime example of stellar customer service. There were a couple of kiosks you could order from or an option to order at the counter. I ordered the Kielbasa dog and cheese fries, all of which were excellent. I’m not sure if there’s a poppyseed free options, but our buns had poppyseeds on them. This was the perfect stop for a work lunch, and there was plenty of seating both inside and out.
