I had a great experience with the staff here—they were incredibly nice and helpful, and my order was ready remarkably fast. While the service was top-notch, the food wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for this time. Both the tortilla and the meat were a bit on the dry side. I come here at least once/week for a quick lunch as my schedule allows. The food is wonderful, fresh, flavorful. Everything on the menu is excellent.
What makes this southside gem even better is the staff. The staff members are always smiling, attentive, very friendly, and frequently check on your needs while you dine. They will even clear you table as you compete food items. The staff members here demonstrate “excellent customer service” at all times.

I’ve been coming to BK’s for years, and it continues to be one of my must-visit spots whenever I’m back in Tucson. This time, we came in for dinner and while it wasn’t terribly busy, the experience was still top-notch.
The food was outstanding—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I had the carne asada burrito and a birria taco, along with chips, guacamole, and a michelada. Everything came out quickly and was perfectly prepared.
The staff were phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even without the pressure of a busy night, they stayed on top of everything and made sure we were well taken care of.
Living in Alaska, I miss this kind of food. BK’s is always worth the stop—authentic, consistent, and always satisfying.

Maybe your girlfriend likes a three inch hot dog, but like… I don’t even know where you buy hot dogs that short!?
I ordered the sonora hot dog, and guacamole. Somehow it ended up costing $18 for what I believe should be $10.
And please, put more meat in your buns. I seriously have never seen a hot dog that short in my life. Do you custom order half size ones?!

What a little gem. We were in Tucson for my son’s football tournament and wanted to try some local food spots. Since this had great reviews we gave this a try for lunch. It wasn’t very pack so we were seated quickly and I ordered the sonaraon hot dogs, since it was a must try. It did have a lot going on with the toppings but it wasn’t bad. I would get it again. Our waitress was friendly, polite and attentive. Give this place a try

Let’s start with the good – service was top notch! Super friendly, very attentive and food came out fast. The whole restaurant is a vibe, you have the open salsa space and you could just go and chill for a cool dinner. However, the food was just meh. It wasn’t bad but it just was nothing special, and for the price of items, it better be super special. So I give this place a 4 but it really is the vibes and service doing the work.
