Food was from food truck on site. Had county smash burger. Was not prepared for such amazing flavors. Never expect much from burgers, for the most part it’s difficult to miss on making one. Outstanding cooked perfectly… Met the chef Morgan, Great guy. Served by Zack, took excellent care of us

No food truck available on a Thursday night is my only complaint. Dog friendly. The bartender gave our two dogs a pup cup. I overall loved this place. Beautiful atmosphere and view. Friendly bartender.

This is probably my favorite summertime hangout in Bay City based totally on the river view. I have no idea if the food and drinks are any good, I just get a Michelob Ultra and watch the sunset.

Tannis is exceptional. She was extremely attentive, and our drinks never got empty. This was such a pleasant experience due to her doing everything I needed as a patron to this spot. If you can, see her!!!!!!!! You won’t regret it.

Arrived and had two servers walk past my friend and I four times. 11 minutes later, I went to the bar to get drinks. The bartender was pleasant.
We drank half our drinks, and because we have never been here, wanted to check out the deck area. We were yelled at by a young server “Hey we’re closing! Can you come get your phones?” It was 959 pm. They locked the doors on us.
With 13 patrons still here, that was odd and rude.
Then they went to the bar and laughed about it, commenting so we could hear. Then obnoxious rap music proceeded.
I want to love this place and I want to say I’ll be back. After today, probably not. I went to high school once.

Drift is everything you want in a lakefront bar. Laid back, scenic, and effortlessly cool. I stopped in for a sunset drink and ended up staying for hours. The view over the water is unreal, with boats gently rocking nearby and a breeze that makes you forget every stress you walked in with.
What really made the night unforgettable though, was my server Kailie, she’s an absolute peach. Attentive, upbeat, and just the right amount of fun. Her smile alone could brighten the whole dock. She made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time there. Drinks came fast, recommendations were spot-on, and she never missed a beat.
Can’t wait to come back!
