My wife and I returned for a second visit on our way home back to the US and it did not disappoint! My wife ordered a pot of mussels which were delicious and I started with the bone marrow which I loved followed by the delicious sea bass which melted in my mouth! This is such an amazing restaurant with a fabulous staff that never misses a beat!

Fabulous seafood-centric restaurant in Geneva. We had a family night and had a wonderful old school meal with lots of buttery sauces and mussels and fries. I had the roasted scallops and rock fish soup and they are tried and true and super yummy. Save room for dessert. We’ll be back and we highly recommend.

Brasserie Lipp is a great place to eat in Geneva city center. If you like traditional French cuisine, this is actually a must-visit. The food was really good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was exactly what you would expect in a packed brasserie. The menu is quite varied and offers many French classics. 1/5 – A total disappointment and a true disaster
We had a terrible experience at Brasserie Lipp. We arrived at 12:00 with our two children, and it took them 50 minutes just to serve the kids, while our own plates came 30 minutes later. The waiter mentioned there had been a problem with my order and that the ticket hadn’t reached the kitchen, but honestly, other families who arrived after us were served much faster.
The difference? Those customers were clearly regulars, while we were not. To make matters worse, other children received drawing kits to help them wait; ours didn’t get anything. Our youngest ended up crying because the wait was unbearable. Only then did the waiter finally bring the children’s food, yet our plates were still missing.
In the end, we couldn’t even eat together as a family. The whole experience was chaotic and disappointing. The food itself was just average, certainly not worth the high prices, and the service was disorganized and indifferent.
Not recommended for new customers, there are much better options nearby that actually care about their guests.

where do I start, a friend of mine came and took us to her favorite restaurant; this is the place, I will definitely stop by every time I come. The food was fantastic, especially the sole fish. We also enjoyed the mussels and oysters, everything tasted super fresh. The place could be even better with a bit of background music, but overall we had a great time. Our waiter was really helpful and friendly too.
