We were sat pretty quickly, which I was surprised because we usually have about an hour or so wait. It wasn’t busy.
We have come to this location many, many times over the years. It was one of our favorite brunch spots. Unfortunately, this was not a great day.
Service: I don’t remember our server’s name. She was really sweet. She was not very attentive though and the service was extremely slow. I won’t put the blame on her for the kitchen and the bar.
Food: It was pretty disappointing. We ordered drinks and my mimosa and my husband’s coffee took about 20 minutes to come out. We also ordered beignets and they took about 30 minutes to come out. They were good. Nice and hot. Our food took about 40 minutes, maybe longer.
I ordered Lemon Blueberry and goat cheese pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage and potatoes. I wanted a side of grits, but they were out. Which was odd. I would think that grits would be something easy to keep on hand, but maybe not. Let me say my food was cold, so I did not eat it. And after we had to wait so long for our food, I was just ready to go home. The sausage was very good. I need to talk about the pancakes. A real disappointment. Served cold, it was not very pleasing to the eye. It was a stack of 3 pancakes with about 5 blueberries on top and 3 in between each pancake. There was diced goat cheese sprinkled on and around the pancake and lemon zest. There was absolutely no lemon, blueberry or goat cheese in the pancakes. Again, the pancakes as well as the eggs, were served cold.
My daughter had the french toast pancakes and asked for extra cream cheese icing and after taking a while to get the syrup and butter, our server said someone in the kitchen was looking for the cream cheese, so we said to just not worry about it because everything already took too long. My daughter also asked for toast for eggs that she never received.
I did notify our server that our food was cold and she chuckled and said the food was cold and kept walking. Not in a rude way or anything, but more like it wasn’t a big deal.
To Go: Me and my husband both wanted gumbo to go. Because our food took extremely long to come out, we went ahead and ordered our gumbo as soon as it did come. She brought out our check and asked if we wanted the check now or wait for the gumbo, which the gumbo was already taking long, so we asked for the check beforehand. What we ordered were two bowls of gumbo. What we received was two rectangular to go containers with the gumbo just plopped in there. It looked like what I feel a side/cup of gumbo would be spread out in a container. There was more rice than gumbo which says a lot because there was hardly anything inside. (The pictures of the gumbo were made to go. We didn’t even eat any before the pictures. That’s how small the serving was).
Although disappointed, I won’t say we won’t come back because this is honestly the first bad experience we had there, but it will be a very long time before we return.

Had such a wonderful experience at Another Broken Egg! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and came out perfectly. What really made the visit stand out though was Selena. She was incredible and somehow managed to be the hostess, bartender, and our waitress all at once, and still gave us the best service. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed the entire time.
The manager was also very kind and took the time to check on us, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell this place really cares about their customers. Great atmosphere, great people, and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back.

I stopped by Another Broken Egg Café and tried the chicken omelette, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. The price was also surprisingly decent for the quality you get. Overall, a wonderful breakfast spot that made my morning highly recommend!

2nd visit….seems preparing the food takes awhile both visits here but well worth it. This time I went with the Apple Cider Pancakes….very good. The whole table loved their food even the gluten free pancakes shown were good.

My first time here and won’t be my last. I was greeted by a very nice lady..Micaiah and I sat at the bar..busy time.. the young lady Celina was informative and very friendly too. I ordered the breakfast bowl that had egg scramble over homemade grits, bacon and an awesome biscuit!! Atmosphere very relaxed and clean…please make this a stop to eat place. You won’t regret it….

We waited over 10 minutes before being greeted by our server once we were sat. She never introduced herself and just asked if we wanted to order drinks. We ordered a mocktail and glass of ice tea. 30 minutes later we got up and asked for a water at the bar as our drinks never came. At this point we had to speak up when the manager came around checking in with the tables. Manager was a nice lady but our service never improved and potential compensation for the awful service was never mentioned. I do not believe she was aware of how long it actually had been.
Food took about an hour to arrive after ordering and it was wrong and not good. If we ever saw our waitress to ask for a refill or what was missing from our orders it was 5-15 minutes later that she came back. My friend’s order was wrong and the waitress recognized and said she would get the right sandwhich. 45 minutes later the new sandwhich came out and you guessed it… it was WRONG AGAIN. Half of the ingredients listed on the menu were not present on our plates.
Would never ever recommend this place to those who respect their time, like eating tasty food within an hour of sitting down at a restaurant, or like to receive what you actually ordered.
For reference the photo attached is the sandwich that took over 45 minutes to come out.

An excellent option since the other place was an hour wait. Food hot. Selena our server was great with menu options and excellent service from the both her and Rita-manager made sure our food and service was great. Definitely putting this spot on my regular foodie list for breakfast ✅ Felt like home.

I had the shrimp and grits at Another Broken Egg and it was excellent. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the grits were creamy and flavorful.
I also want to recognize Quida Reynolds, the Assistant Manager. She was very attentive and you could tell she truly appreciated the customers, taking time to talk with everyone and making sure people were enjoying their experience. That kind of hospitality really stands out.
Great atmosphere and a wonderful start to the day. I’ll definitely be back.

The Assistant manger Quida actually came to our table and greeted us. She checked to make sure we had an enjoyable meal. The food was fabulous and it didn’t take forever! I will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this location! Everybody is so kind and goes over and out to to be genuinely thoughtful! They gave us beignets to try and recommended such delicious food! Shoutout to the manager Mrs. Ouida for having the best food advice too! If you have a chance to meet her she makes such great conversation and really helps you pick out for the indecisive! Had a great time 10/10 please eat here!
