Thanks to the friendly staff who patiently explained how to find our way from the other side of the River Walk to the restaurant while accommodating a wheelchair user who needed an elevator.
Once seated, Cody provided us with remarkable service.
To be honest, we weren’t hungry after our first pub stop an hour earlier, but we liked this place so much that we kept ordering food and drinks just to enjoy the atmosphere.
Even though my shrimps were a little overcooked, everything else more than made up for it.
Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Wonderful lunch!!! Anna was our server and she was STELLAR!! The food was fantastic and the best dang mashed potatoes I’ve ever had (world traveler here) The Manager Will came up to greet us and had a wonderful conversation also! Definitely a must stop on the River Walk! Oh and their Hot Sauce is SPECTACULAR!! Get some to go and be the next hit at your own BBQ!! Thank you so much!!

Excellent place! Anthony was our server- VERY attentive and helpful in picking what to order. The brisket and coleslaw were great. We also had chicken street tacos and the shrimp platter which were also great. If we come to visit, we will be going back!
We sat outside and had a perfect view of the river walk with ducks right beside us (which our kiddo loved).

Celebrated our anniversary here. Dinner and service were both fantastic! Nik & Robert were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We enjoyed a Caesar salad with white anchovies, bison ribeye, hatch chili mac-n-cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and chocolate mousse for dessert. Every course was absolutely delicious. We will be returning and bringing family with us to enjoy the amazing dishes! Our compliments to the chefs!

The atmosphere.. That’s the draw. We sat indoor but at an open window with a wonderful view of the river.. Away from the passerbys and the pigeons. It was a nice stay except for the rushed service.
I fully understand that it is on the Riverwalk and had there been a wait line I’d fully understand. There was no wait.. Just the hurry up and get outta here feel.

We had a great experience Our server Tess was excellent and very kind, respectful, and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered three fajitas, and although one of them came out late, she handled it professionally by bringing the other two on time and even adding an extra rib steak, which we really appreciated.
The food was very fresh, and the meats were high quality and well cooked. The atmosphere by the River Walk was beautiful and relaxing. Overall, great service, generous portions, and a pleasant dining experience. We would definitely come back.

This is on the river walk so it is not always quiet. Service was fast and the food is pretty good. I had cilantro chicken and hubby had the shrimp platter. Both were a decent size and both were yummy. We will be back, just maybe not this trip.

This place screams “Texas pride” despite sitting politely on the Riverwalk like it pays rent there. If you snag a table by the water, congrats—you’ve unlocked the scenic mode. My first officer highly recommended the fajitas, and while they were definitely tasty, they didn’t exactly change my life or make me reconsider my beliefs.
The real MVP was the bar service. I posted up at the bar, where Victor took excellent care of me like a true professional. I asked for a spicy margarita, and he delivered something with just enough kick to remind me I’m alive, but not enough to cause regret. Overall, the food and service were solid—worth a stop if you’re nearby, but probably not worth rerouting your entire Texas adventure for.

Almost immediately after we sat down, a photographer offered to take our picture for “free”. Typical tourist scam. Took 3 pics and came back offering to sell us for $30. Not a good start.
