Placed an online/curb side order. It was not busy…which should have been a hint, because it was dinner time. Regardless, I let them know we were in a spot. Still, 20 minutes later we got our food. Looked through the bag and was missing 2 things. Green beans and a drink. Called immediately, lady was very nice and said they would be right out. We started eating because we like to eat while it’s actually hot, we completely finished and still noone. Now mind you the first time, we were only car at pickup. This time in between 2 had went through. Anyway. I had to go in and ask for them to give me a scoop of beans that didn’t even require hitting that cooks ticket line. Honestly, won’t go back to this location.

I came for the pancakes and they did not disappoint. Neither did the hash brown casserole. Cracker Barrel always has had a good breakfast. I thought the eggs were a little undercooked, so next time, I’ll ask to get them fried harder. Our server, Robert, was great!

I’ve never really been the biggest fan of Cracker Barrel, but I came here with my in-laws, husband, and child. I ordered just chicken tenders with Mac and cheese and French fries. The Mac and cheese was luke warm at best, the chicken was well seasoned and warm and the French fries were extremely hot. All of the food was a different temperature which was odd. The waitress that helped us was friendly but felt extremely fake because she never smiled. It felt rehearsed but not genuine. She checked up on us but waited until our drinks were empty to refill them. It just felt strange!

Cracker Barrel used to be a great breakfast spot but since the pandemic the quality of the food has changed and the vibe is like going to your local Bridge or Bingo Tournament and/or your Northeast Georgia Medical Appointment. I used to love their pancakes and fried chicken but the pancakes have changed from tasty to doughy. Their chicken used to rival any Southern Fried chicken recipe, but now it’s bland, crunchy and tough (like cooked and microwaved). No, I didn’t go on the weekend, it was actually a Wednesday. With that, I have to rate CB as the best value breakfast joint (not counting Waffle House) but #5 in quality of food behind, J Chris, Snooze, Flying Biscuit, and First Watch.

Food was great and we had the best server (Trina). We will definitely ask for her when we return. The only issue I had was I got on waitlist via the App and when we arrived I clicked I’m here. Apparently this did not notify the desk so after some time we asked about how much time and they explained they were not notified of arrival. I can check in in person next time.

I have always loved CB however, this is the second time we go to the Buford location and it’s the worst!!! The first negative experience was when we were seated, ordered and were waiting 40 minutes before we asked our server for a status and were told we had to wait another 30 minutes because there was limited staff on kitchen. We left. Management should inform customers that it will take over one hour to get your food served.

Tonight we decided to give it another try. After 30 minutes, the cheese bites were served burnt. The corn was not edible, the mashed potatoes were ice cold so I asked for a manager. The manager came over and offered to take it off of our ticket. When the check came it had nothing removed so we left all our food uneaten paid the tab and left.

You have to do better, Cracker Barrel!

Not that great of a visit. Biscuits came were not brought to the table. Ordered chicken tenders. No sauces were given. Tenders were on the dry side. Okra was dry and not good. Server was fine. Blamed the hostess for food not coming out correctly. Usually, service and food is a lot better but have not been to a Cracker Barrel in a couple of years. They always have a fun selection of items in their general store.

This was my second time going to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. My first time was over 20 years ago. On this visit we had a nice waitress. When the food arrived it was delivered by a male waiter that was totally rude. He fell short of the customer service skills required to work with the public. As for the food, the gravy tasted like grease and the hash browns were mushy. They added some sort of creamy cheese sauce. I definitely will not be visiting this food chain again.

When you go to this restaurant you expect to have the same exceptional service and traditional food. However today way was awful. They served my children raw eggs in the eggs in the basket and half cooked bacon. The coffee was more like tea. People around us where seated after us and served before us(took over a half hour after ordering and still raw). The waitress or kitchen lost our ticket “she blamed the kitchen for using the slow grill.. now if your a waiter/waitress your “job” is to ensure the order is correct and looks right. When eggs are still looking like the had just been cracked that should have never reached our table.
