Uber driver suggested this wonderful location. Not far from the VHM was just walking distance. I was greeted by the super friendly host. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and was able to customize it with red sauce instead of the white. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great and very inviting. Looked like they had a great selection in drinks and beverages. Will definitely be revisiting this place.

After being a Bottoms Up customer for many years, I will no longer patron the restaurant. Today I ordered a typical order for us, a thin Crust chesapeake pizza that I added bacon and shrimp to, a thin crust meat master and a dozen sweet and spicy wings with extra ranch. I asked for the chicken wings to be fried hard because they tend to get soft because of the sauce.

My husband picked up the order and as soon as I opened the box I saw the
Chesapeake didn’t have shrimp and bacon; and the wings weren’t fried hard and had become soft in the box. Dissatisfied I called the restaurant back to notify them and advise them that I would be disputing the charge. The guy who answered apologized and accepted that. Five minutes later my phone rings and it’s Bottoms Up, I don’t answer. They can leave a message. They called again and then again when finally I answered it agitated that they would ring my phone back to back repeatedly.

I told the guy to stop calling my phone, and that I was disputing the charge as this is the 2nd time we weren’t satisfied with our order. The guy had the audacity to yell at me that he “was going to issue me a refund” before hanging up in my face. That message could have been relayed on my voicemail if that was the true intent of the call, not a forced interaction and interruption to my evening because of their error.

Again, we will never eat here again, this is not the Bottoms Up that real Richmonders can remember from the past.

I have dined in once, and done takeaway once, and both times have been a lovely experience. The restaurant is clean, in a unique space in Richmond, with excellent light and wonderful service. For take away, I was able to schedule right at opening, and there is perfect 15 minute parking right next to the front door. The pizzas are beautiful, close to deep dish, but by no means soupy, and are piled well with amazing toppings. The pizzas were a huge hit with my family, including my picky mom, and the leftovers were even better the next day.

One word review:

Amazing!

Service was excellent, the pizza was amazing. The atmosphere was simple and relaxed. Went in just after noon on a weekday.intend to return as soon as possible. Don’t let my price reflect it as expensive. I got a large for just me. And brought home enough for 3 more servings.

Great lunch spot. The pizza was incredibly delicious. Service was a little slow but acceptable. Ill be back for sure!! Parking can be challenging too so circling the block for street parking is recommended. The flood line is cool to see inside too.

Pretty good pie. Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. Crust is crunchy with a hint of that burnt taste if you’re into that. Seem to make their dough from scratch and not frozen ect. Kinda pricey for what it is in my opinion. Very friendly service in a cool repurpossed auto shop from the looks of it.

Such a disappointment. Even from the very start. Walked in and the staff member hosting was so high they could barely complete a sentence. Once sat it took longer than expected for our server who was on the patio playing on her phone to get to us. Everytime the host walked by I was blasted with the smell of what I can only assume is what he was high off of. The food absolutely sucked. Crazy bc I remember this place being so good. When asked how things are I replied, “different than usual” to which I was given a shoulder shrug. Sad. Just overall sad. This place was such a clean well desired restaurant and it’s turned into a dirty empty shell. I see why it’s empty at lunchtime now. Such a waste. I’m just disappointed

Had the BBQ chicken pizza and truffle fries. Everything was delicious
Fries were fresh and tasty, the pizza was loaded with toppings, liked it better with ranch drizzled on it. Although the pizza was tasty, it wasn’t hot when it came out. Warm but not hot like fresh out of the oven.
Overall, I’d come back.

Is a delightful pizza place. A train travels above the resturant while enjoying morsels of deliciousness.
