What impressed me the most is the excellent quality of the food compared to the very reasonable prices. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Yemeni mandi with great taste and fair pricing. I will definitely be coming back again.
If you’re looking for real mandi, this is the place to come. The quality is top-notch, and everything tastes fresh and delicious.
Highly recommended for everyone — definitely worth trying!
Best Mandi I’ve ate in the U.S takes you back to Saudi Arabia if you ever ate Mandi there.
Also try their Kibda (liver) and Rashoosh (bread)
I had an incredible experience at King of Mandi. If you are looking for authentic Yemeni food that actually tastes like a home-cooked meal rather than “restaurant food,” this is the place to be. It is rare to find a spot that captures that genuine, comforting “homemade” essence while maintaining such high professional standards. This is officially my new go-to spot for comfort food.
Highly recommended!
Having eaten Mandi in Saudi Arabia, I can confidently say this is the real deal. King of Mandi captures that same quality and authenticity that made me fall in love with this dish in the first place. The flavors, the presentation, the cooking technique, everything reminded me of the best Mandi I had overseas.
If you’re craving authentic Mandi or want to experience what this incredible dish should truly taste like, King of Mandi is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!
Came all the way from Ann Arbor!
Food (2/5):
I ordered both the lamb and chicken Mandi. Unfortunately, the food was below average. I have pretty high standards since I was born and raised in and know what authentic Yemeni food should taste like. This just didn’t come close.
Service (4/5):
The lady who greeted me and the waiter who served my food were both very friendly and welcoming. However, the owner or manager (the man behind the counter in the white shirt) seemed very dry and lacked basic customer service skills, which left a negative impression.
Atmosphere (3/5):
The space felt a bit cramped — tables are too close together, so there’s not much sense of privacy. Luckily, it was a quiet afternoon, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable moving around.
Overall:
Would I come back again? Probably not. I preferred the previous management. I ended up paying around $70 for food that was just meh.
