Almost Excellent, Almost…
Came around late afternoon and the place was completely empty. Peaceful, yes. Slightly awkward, also yes. The space itself is actually nice. Chill, unpretentious, easy lighting, good for a slow afternoon bite without noise.
Ordered the cod fish and chips. When it arrived, it looked right. Golden crisp batter, flaky moist fish, thick rustic fries with proper texture. First few bites were genuinely satisfying. When hot, it works.
As it cooled, the batter softened and turned slightly bready and chewy, which shouldn’t really happen with good fish and chips. That’s where it slipped. Mushy peas were forgettable. Tartar sauce was decent but lacked that sharp acidic kick to cut through the fry.
Service was efficient but flat. No hostility, just zero warmth. In an empty restaurant, that energy feels amplified. Still, the fish itself is solid. Not flawless, but strong enough to come back for.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was exceptional, I started with a dozen Irish Premium Oysters, which were incredibly fresh and briny, and followed up with a Fish and Chips that was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky inside. Beyond the food, the service truly stood out. Our waiter was incredibly nice, friendly, and genuinely assisting, taking the time to guide my sister and me through the menu, specifically pointing out the non-alcoholic options. We had a really fun time and will definitely be back!

Honestly the best meal I have had in since I was here last. Extraordinary. We ordered the “Round the World” oysters. Trout, with potatoes and mushrooms and the salmon ceasar salad. Oh, and a bottle of the Allan Scott. A perfect complement. This place needs to be on every “must do” list for KL visitors. I know I am gushing, but I am serious. I’ll be back. J

We had a quiet mid-week dinner for 2 here. Food was very good. Clam chowder as a starter, accompanied by an oyster shooter each. Very yummy! This was followed by the grill fish sharing platter for 2, with the lemon and honey broccolini. Platter size was perfect for 2, included baramundi, salmon and red snapper with roasted veggies, potatoes and creamy mushrooms. They have a good wine list. All were delicious. 2 scoops of ice cream followed. The rum and raisin was a little powdery for my taste. Overall, it was a lovely dinner. The service was spot on; attentive, but unintrusive. We will come again.

July is both my friend’s and my birthday, so we decided to celebrate together with a nice dinner. Since we all love seafood, we ended up choosing this place and it did not disappoint!
The oysters were incredibly fresh—like taking a bite of the ocean. We also had green mussels cooked in white wine. While the mussels were fresh too, they were a bit on the small side.
We also ordered three kinds of fish—each with a different taste and texture, all very well-prepared and without any fishy smell.
Finished off with two slices of cake, just enough for a candle moment and some birthday singing. A sweet ending to a great night.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Overall, an excellent dining experience. Definitely coming back!

Just moved into the area.. maybe my bad luck ~7pm… but the food wasn’t great to say the least…both dishes were not worth it, overpriced for sure…the portions are horrible so was the soup base; absolutely outrages!! I ordered the Bouillabaise (2 “tiger”-dwarfsized-prawns, 2mussel-cum-clams and 2 Bara so small that can’t be even seen it… seriously!! I seriously don’t understand when I see the pics people are posting. Malas to type about service but at least they have a manager who is decent.

Came here a few months ago to celebrate a colleague’s farewell. We did not make any reservations and so we popped by earlier than usual. It was a weekday and thankfully we managed to get a table inside. The evening was too warm to be seated outside. However, it is just warm enough to justify a glass (or two) of chilled rose. The team was friendly and since we were new there, they patiently explained their menu to us and made their recommendations. I usually have a few staple items I always order so I can compare them against what I had before elsewhere. The food was good and we didn’t have to wait long. The ambience was relaxing and quiet. Tucked away at the backstreet near an upmarket neighbourhood, we enjoyed our dinner that evening whilst watching the sunset as well as reminiscing the times we worked together with our colleague who is moving on to a greener pasture. The portion of the main course is not that big so we had room for dessert as well, which was a nice ending to the lovely evening. I passed by recently and was surprised to see that the shop is closed and a new signage is being put up. Not sure if the business has moved to a new location but I wish them all the best.

Good quality food served here although price is a little bit on the higher side but you pay for quality. Ambience is quite good, too. Nice place to bring your date for a weekend or weekend’s eve dinner. The oysters is of course the star of the show! You can never go wrong with the oysters here. These are the smaller and more flavourful oysters variety, as compared to the ones you get in Thailand (where they are huge but tasteless).

We had a wonderful dining experience, hosted by the incredibly polite and accommodating Rizwan Ehsan. From the moment we arrived for Iftar, we were warmly welcomed with dates and water, setting the perfect tone for the meal. The food was impeccable – I had the Iftar menu fish and chips with prawn soup (omg it was so good) while my friend enjoyed the crab and noodles, and mash potatoes which she described as really good. Everything was of great quality and absolutely delicious.
Rizwan went above and beyond, constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. When we decided to move outside for dessert, he even helped carry our belongings. Outstanding service, fantastic food, and a beautiful experience – I love Malaysia!
