As of lately, it seems like my venti drinks are not being filled all the way like they used to be. The staff is super friendly and my drinks always taste great so no complaints there. I pay extra for non dairy so it’s frustrating when my cup is filled only to about 3″ from the top. If I wanted a grande, I’d get a grade. I get that I do light ice, but I’m used to them being filled to about 1.5″ from the top with light ice. Can I ask them to top it off? I’ve seen other reviews saying they won’t if you ask, so I’m not sure.
**update: Starbucks support online told me to ask them to top it off, because it shouldn’t be THAT short with light ice…so I did. The girl got upset at me and told me “well you got light ice so that’s how it is. I’ll top it off this time but next time you have to pay extra”. Girl no offense but I already pay 70 cents extra because I CAN’T have dairy. So, needless to say, I was a bit annoyed at the attitude. The drink tasted weird and I noticed the milk on the bottom was curdled. I threw out the drink. I contacted Starbucks again with a photo of the curdled milk and what happened when I asked for a light top off. They were very helpful and polite and said they would talk to the store. I told them previously I didn’t want any compensation but they gave me a free drink anyway due to the fact that my last drink had curdled milk and wasn’t drinkable. Came in the next morning and the same girl heard my name and immediately asked if I wanted a top off. I told her yes just a bit and she did with no attitude and I went on my way.
I appreciate that the store took my complaint to heart and that even though I told corporate I didn’t need compensation, they gave it to me anyway. Just wish thus store would get back to their usual service and consistency.
